"Dean"

"Dean"

"Dean!"

Katerina groaned as she rolled over in the pull out couch. Her red hair was frizzy and knotted around her face. "Sam, love ya, but shut the fuck up." Her face dug deeper in the pillow, attempting to fall back asleep.

"Dad?" With Sam uttering those words Kat shot up from her lying position. She got out of her bed, holding her neck that was in pain as she sat in Sam's bed. "You're after it aren't you? The thing that killed mom....a demon?"

Kat rested a comforting hand on the boys knee as he spoke to his father for the first time in years. "Let us help you...why not?"

"Give me the phone." Dean demanded as he reached his arm out at his brother. "Names? What names, Dad? Talk to me. Tell me what's going on."

At this point Dean got frustrated and yanked the phone out of his hand, "Dad, It's me, where are you?...Yes sir. Yeah, I got a pen." He grabbed a black gel pen off of the nightstand and began to write the names John told him to take down.

Now, the trio were in Deans Impala as they drove to a town John had lead them too. He didn't want their help, so he gave them a job. Katerina was currently lying down in the backseat with her arm covering her eyes. "Kat, if your stupid army boots leave a scratch on my seats, I will end you." Dean threatened with a taunting smirk as he looked at the girl in the rearview mirror. She lifted up an arm as she stuck the middle finger at him, and continued to try and fall asleep.

Over the few months of being on the road with the Winchesters, Kat had found comfort with the two boys. Sam was like a brother to her and she'd fight for him as if he was her blood. She didn't know my but she felt a deep connection with the youngest of the three. Dean on the other hand was something else. He was a careless flirt and lucky for him, so was Katerina. She knew she was hot and didn't mind flirting with the gorgeous man, but they got on each others nerves often. At every mission they would make it a competition on who could figure out the mystery first or who can be more badass when taking out the creature. They were so much alike that they clashed often.

"So, the names dad gave us—they're all couples." Sam stated as he looked at the piece of paper with names. "Three different couples that all went missing." Dean confirmed. "And they're all from different towns, different states?"

"Yeah, Washington, New York, Colorado. Each couple took a road trip cross-country. None of them arrived at their destination. None ever heard from again." Dean continued as Kat turned her head towards the boys, "Coincidence? I think not." She muttered with a groan loud enough for the boys to hear her.

"Well, It's a big country, guys. They could have disappeared anywhere."

"Sam, each route took the exact same part of Indiana. That's where we're headed too." Dean nodded at the girls statement as he added on, "Always on the second week of April. One year after another."
