I stood at the balcony, gazing out at the unfamiliar cityscape. The reality of my situation hit me like a ton of bricks. This wasn't a dream. I really had lost my memories. I really was living a life I didn't recognize.

Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes as I felt a sense of despair wash over me.

Just then, a voice broke the silence. "Are you going to jump from there?"

I spun around, startled, and that's when I saw her. A woman who looked identical to me. She have that same grey eyes like me , freckles scattered across her cheeks like me but have straight brown hair that fell down her back like a curtain. My own hair was a little wavy, I noticed.

But it was the resemblance that shocked me. She was like my own mirror image, standing opposite me in a pair of jeans and a yellow sundress. I, on the other hand, was still in my hospital gown.

I felt like I was staring into a parallel universe.

The woman smiled as she took in my expression. "Oh, sorry. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Sancha Fleur. Your sister."

I stared at her, my eyes wide. She looked so... serious. My sister...? WHAT? SHE'S MY SISTER!

I gasped, my heart racing, and then suddenly I was running towards her, throwing my arms around her neck. "Oh my Lulu!"

Sancha's expression didn't change, but her voice was dry. "Oh, oh come on. What are you doing?"

I held her at arm's length, gazing at her in wonder. "Oh my god, look how much you've grown up! You were just a small kid, and now you're the same height as me! I can't believe my eyes!"

Sancha raised an eyebrow. "What the hell, Kate? I'm not a freaking miracle."

I nodded, still staring at her. "But... but you're so tall and grown-up now!"

Sancha deadpanned, "Yeah, well, that's what happens when you turn 20. I'm not 14 anymore, Kate."

I looked crestfallen, my face falling. "I... I can't believe it. I feel so old."

Sancha shrugged. "You're not old, Kate. You're just... delayed."

I playfully hit her arm. "Hey, watch it!"

Sancha smirked. "Just saying."

Sancha asked, "How have you been feeling, Kate?"

But I was too excited to answer. "How are you feeling? Tell me about how you are!"

Sancha shrugged. "Nothing much. I turned 20 years old last month and I'm in law college... yeah, that's it."

I couldn't believe it. "Oh my god, I can't believe it!" I tore up, feeling a mix of emotions.

Sancha's expression turned serious. "Don't you want to know about yourself, Kate?"

I nodded, still sniffling.

"The doctor said you only remember up to what happened to you till your 20th year," Sancha said gently. "So, you're not 20 anymore. Not a university student anymore. You're 26 years old, Kate. You have your own career."

I stared at Sancha, my eyes wide with shock. "What? I have a job? I never believed I would pass my university exams, omg!"

Sancha nodded. "Yeah, you're a wedding planner and you own your own company, Caeli Events, which is, of course, successful."

I felt dizzy, my head spinning. "Omg god, my head... where is the bed?" I stumbled towards it and sat down, trying to process everything.

Sancha sat beside me. "I know it's a lot to take in, but you have to know all of this. And I have to admit, it's weird for me too, telling you who you are and all..."
