The meteor shower was going to happen soon. Twins Link and Zelda have been excitedly planning since the announcement first came. Geurdo desert was where the meteor shower would pass through so they planned to stay at the Kara Kara Bazaar well Link did Zelda would be staying with Urbosa. The two did have a small argument about it but they reached an agreement. Link knew Zelda was close to Urbosa since their mother passed so he was fine with staying behind so his sister could reunite with Urbosa.
"Everything packed?" He asked Zelda while he finished putting their bags in the car. "Yeah, I got everything we need," Zelda said getting in the driver's seat. "Link, are you sure-" Link cut her off with a finger to her lips. "It's fine Zel, really I'm fine." Zelda didn't look convinced but she dropped the subject regardless. "Since we're leaving so early we'll be spending around two or three days in the desert before the meteor shower begins." Link nodded and leaned back.
They stopped at the entrance of the Desert. Normal means of transportation were simply to heave for the loose sands of the Desert so they would have to continue on foot or sandseal. "Sandseal?" Link asked a mischievous grin on his face as he changed into more appropriate attire. "Sandseal." Zelda agreed as she finished tying her hair back. The two grabbed their shields, a gift Urbosa gave them for their birthday a few years back, and sneaked up to the closest seals. They successfully caught them and rode off to the Bazaar.
At the Bazaar Urbosa stood powerfully standing out even among her guard. "Greetings you two." She smiled at them and Link and Zelda hopped off the seals. "Hello Urbosa." They greeted back voices in perfect unison. "Link I'm sure you know but we can't bring you into town." Link nodded and smiled. "It's okay Urbosa, just keep Zel safe for me okay?" Urbosa smiled and nodded. "Come, little bird it's time to get you settled in." Zelda hugged Link once last time before she had to walk off with Urbosa.
Once out of view, Link deflated. While he loved the desert and how warm he felt here he hated how he was forced to separate from Zelda and how he had to wait for them to join him. He shakes his head and signed into the Bazaar hotel. He unpacked his bags and sat down for a little to unwind before he decided to wander around the Bazaar. It's been a few years since he's been back. "Should I change?" He asked himself. The Bazaar was a safe place but the Geurdo guards weren't the friendliest to the men who came even Link who was close friends with Urbosa was still mistreated by them. Eventually, he decided to change into the Gerudo Vai clothes a friend of his gave him. Letting his hair down and putting the veil on Link looked like every other Hylian woman. He knew he could enter Gerudo town like this but he wouldn't dare cross that line. So he left the room and walked about the Bazaar.
A small ways away Link spotted him. The rumored Geurdo male who he had a crush on. Ganondorf was big and muscular his long firey hair fell to his hips. "Ah, Link." He spoke in that delicious deep voice. He walked closer and tilted Link's face up. Link was so great full he dyed the Vai clothes red. "It's been too long since we last saw each other my flower." He spoke softly and undid the veil to plant a sweet kiss on his lips. "Ganondorf..." Link spoke softly and hugged him. "I missed you." Ganondorf hugged back his big muscular arms holding Link firmly in place. "So have I my desert flower."
The two spent the rest of the day together catching up and giving each other chaste kisses. If they went further Link wouldn't be able to walk and he'd miss the meteor shower. It's night now and Link sat on Ganondorf's lap "Gan, do you want to spend the night with me?" He asked softly playing with one of Ganondorfs fingers. "So you can sleep on my chest again?" Ganondorf teased remembering the last time they slept together he took up the whole bed so Link had to sleep on top of him. "Yeah..." Link blushed. Ganondorf chuckled and lifted his little Hylian bridal style.
The two spent the rest of the days before the meteor shower on dates. Ganondorf courting Link with jewels, clothes, and other Gerudo items. Link meanwhile cooked Ganondorf food worthy of gods, helped Ganondorf become stronger, and explored the desert with him. Finally, it was the day of the meteor shower, and Link and Zelda met up. "Zel, I'm going to invite Ganondorf." He spoke firmly not allowing room for her to disagree. Zelda's eyes narrowed at Ganondorfs name. She didn't trust the Gerudo male and paired with her overprotectiveness of her younger twin made it the perfect mix for her to try to keep them apart. She was about to speak before Urbosa placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Little bird, our little fox here is capable of defending himself." She reassured Zelda. Zelda sighed and relented but it was clear she wasn't happy about this decision.
