𝑺pring break was finally here, thank goodness. One more day in that hellhole they call school, I think I would've died. I sat on the counter at Scoops Ahoy, where my brother was now working with a really nice girl called Robin.

He was scooping ice creams for customers who were excited to test out the different flavours the new parlour had to offer. Everyone had been anticipating the opening of Starcourt Mall for ages, and I had to admit it was pretty cool, and exceeded expectations.

There were clothes stores all around, each was so pretty and colourful and unique. Countless restaurants and places to eat and drink were dotted around, with varied menus and a wide range of food, and they all looked great. There was a massive fountain in the centre, where people had already started dropping coins in, and they glittered up at me from the second floor, as the crystal clear water spilled into the bottom in a pretty way.

Everything felt so amazing, so perfect at first. Little did I know, things were about to change for the worse, and by the end of the spring break, the magnificent place I sat in would be destroyed due to creatures I'd never seen or heard of, and I'd have met and befriended a whole group of nerds...
