"Y/n," Haruki spoke up while staring at his phone. "Did you see the news yet?"

"No. What happened?"

"A kid just got attacked by a sludge villain and some other kid ran in to try and save him. Luckily All Might was there to save them both."

"All Might's the best. I hope those kids are doing alright after that."

"I'm sure they're fine. I just thought you should know so that you stay alert. Those kids were your age."

"I'm glad they weren't younger."

"I also got a call from your therapist."

"Really? What did she say?"

He looked at you now and said, "That she's retiring soon. You only have one more visit left with her."

"Only one??? Wow, she definitely didn't give me much time to digest!"

"That's what I told her, but apparently she's got a lot of family drama she's gotta deal with. Obviously she didn't go into detail, but I guess I'll take her word for it."

"It's okay. I've had a therapist for years, so I could probably do just fine without one."

"You don't want a new one?"

"Ugh, then I'll have to start all over..." you paused. "I just don't know what else they can do that I can't. It sorta got to a point where she did all she could and the rest of the healing was up to me." He nodded.

"Yeah, I suppose. You've been doing a lot better these days... You've always been so strong."

"Thanks. Anyway, I'm gonna head to bed now, Dad. Goodnight." You got up and hugged him. He gave you a kiss on the forehead and you walked out.

You entered your room. There was All Might merch everywhere. He wasn't just a symbol of peace to you— he was a reminder of the only friends you used to have back then. You didn't want your biological parents to ruin that good part of your childhood for you.

It wasn't over the top or anything, but you had a lot of merchandise for a lot of various things and people. All of it had a place and purpose. That night you slept good, thinking about that year. You spent a long time thinking about it. It keeps you calm. You missed your friends dearly... Even Deku's mom. She fed you very yummy food...

"No, I haven't got my quirk yet. Have you?" Deku asked. It was a few days before you could never see them again. You were five years old.

"I haven't." You smiled. "I'm so excited for it!"

"You still think you'll get a quirk? Even with quirk-less parents?"

"Yeah. You're the one who told me I could." He looked down. "What's wrong?"

"Kacchan already got his quirk. A lot of kids in my class already got theirs."

"It's okay. That means yours is coming really soon!" He didn't look up, but he smiled a bit.

"Yeah."

How is Deku doing these days? You never got to see his quirk.

"Wow, Kacchan! Your quirk is amazing!" You said. "I can't wait til I get one! Do you think it'll be cool?"

"....Maybe it could be," he said, looking at you with a smirk. "But not as cool as mine!" You laughed.

"I just want one that's good to be a hero with."

How is Kacchan? Is he going to become a hero just like the three of you talked about? Were the two of them going to UA?
