Evil seeped in deep

How is it that a heart can get thrown around?
With each drop a scar is left behind,
Yet it is mended back together by someone else's promising hands,
Her mind screams warning yet his gentle words are nothing but kind,

How is it that those kind words turn to be nothing but tricks,
It's difficult to separate desire from what's right,
Yet all she was to him was a toy added to the mix,
Her heart begs to not be dropped again in its remaining light.

Yet once her guard was down,
Someone dared to steal her heart with its scars yet to heal,
And just when her heart felt as if it's home it had found,
He threw it in anger and reopened it's scars in which it could never seal.

She aided it to her best,
Yet she saw it near it's end,
So she caged it up from the rest,
After a time the bars had seemed to bend,

The wounds never closed,
So the hate and darkness slithered it's way through.
Everything and everyone she looked at she began to loathe,
Now everything anyone said didn't seem true,

The darkness pumped through her vains,
And a merciless heart was formed,
The hands that threw around her heart planned her this pain,

They caused her to be cold, senseless, yet they were not warned,
What they created was fed rage and hate,
Something that they should have never formed,
Now there is nothing but fear in their eyes as she sealed their fate.

Don't drop a heart from senseless anger,
For the evil seeps in deep,
Once you notice the true danger,
It will be your heart that will be next,
For the tendrils will find an opening,
And the evil seeps in deep.
