Third-Person POV:

Coffee is her lifeline. My God! Eversince kagabi, Dada's smug has been stuck on my mind, annoying na multong giraffe  alert! 🙄

Marina read, rolling her eyes so hard baka magka-cramps. “Seriously? Queen na queen talaga. Shet, ang kapal!”

Tapos, hindi pa doon natapos. May announcement: “Team Performance Challenge. Partners: Marina Summers and La Grande Dame.”

“Are you freaking kidding me?!” Marina shouted, almost spilling her coffee. “Bakit siya pa? Universe, shet, ang tindi mo!”

Dada’s POV:

I was focused sa pag-aayos ng makeup.

“Minsan naiisip ko, baka ang crown na ito ay nakadikit na,” i said with a dramatic flip of my hair whilst adjusing  crown. Shems.”

When i saw the announcement, i saw that Marina was my partner, Seriously? Is this the universe’s idea of a joke?

“Ano ba yan, Marina Summers?” i muttered habang tinitingnan ang post. “This has to be a prank. Universe, shutakels!, wag naman sanang ganito!”

Third-Person POV:

The day of their first rehearsal arrived, and everything was as dramatic as you’d expect. Neon lights, glittery décors, and drag queen posters were all over the place—super “in-your-face” drama.

Marina arrived first, looking like she was ready to slay the entire café.

Moments later, Dada entered the café with the grace and poise of a queen, heels clicking loudly on the floor. Ang aura niya ay parang nagsabi, I’m here, world. Watch me. Almost all of the people ay halos matanggal ang mga mata sa pagtingin kay Dada. Ang crown niya na parang glued na sa ulo —probably because it had been.

Dada sat down across Marina, her smile as radiant as her sequined gown. “Good morning, Marina. Ready na ba tayo for today’s extravaganza?”

Marina took off her sunglasses slowly, looking at Dada as if she were an alien. “Ready? You mean, ready to deal with your oversized ego again?”
