Today was one of the busiest days inside the Palacios estate. Today was the celebration of Aurora Palacios's birthday. Staff were running around left and right to prepare for the celebration that was being held this afternoon.

Aurora began preparing for her birthday, some artists began doing her make up and hair, the others were choosing her outfits.

Meanwhile Amando was helping some of the event organizers hold the party together, there were some people setting up decorations, others preparing the table and setting up the lights.

Amando looked at the clock and realized it was almost time for his next schedule and that was bringing some snacks to Aurora in her room.

"Kayo na muna ang bahala dito ha" Amando signaled before leaving the premises.

He decided to go to the kitchen and bring her some tea for a little bit of Energizer before she continued with her day. While Amando prepared the drinks he overheard some of the staff talk in the back.

These people talaga ang chismosa.. he thought to himself

Before he could get the tray he heard a question from one of the maids.

"Grabe talaga pag birthday ni ma'am Aurora, ang galante!"

"Shempre! Si maam Aurora pa!" The main replied

Amando chuckled, these new employees were still getting used to the way of the Palacios when it comes to parties. After serving the family for 38 years he was used to see these types of extravagant events.

"Pero alam mo napaisip ako.."

"Ano naman yun?" One of the maids asked.

"Sa sobrang yaman ni ma'am Aurora, anong pwedeng iregalo sakanya ng mga tao, lalo nat alam naman nila na sobrang yaman ni ma'am"

"Oo nga no? Ano kaya ang mga binibigay nila sakanya?"

"Siguro bahay? Lupa o kotse!"

"Gaga! Alam kong kaya naman na nya makabili ang mga yan!"

"Pero sa totoo lang, anong bagay ang pwede nating ibibigay sakanya na hindi common?

"What can you get a girl who has everything?"

Those were the words that stuck to his head. Throughout the day, he saw many people bring out gifts and greetings, why was this so hard for him? He was her right hand man. He knew her better than anyone else.

He look through the box that he prepared for her, maybe this want enough..

He sighs before hearing a voice from behind him.

"Amando! Why are are you so stressed on my birthday?" Aurora asked curiously

Amando froze when he heard her, this was no turning back he thought.

"Happy birthday Aurora!" Amando turned to greet her, "Ah ito nga pala regalo ko sayo" he smiled

Aurora smiled "Thank you Amando" she replied genuinely

"Alam ko hindi galante ang regalo ko pero sana magustuhan mo" he replied.

"Let's see kung anong laman", Aurora giggled and began opening the bag. It revealed a small box, inside the box was a golden necklace that was badly crafted.

Aurora looked confused, but was Thankful, meanwhile Amando giggled.

"Alam ko nagtataka ka kung bakit parang deformed yang kwintas" he replied.

"Ah! Hindi.. it's authentic.. umm maganda sya! Thank you! She lied to make him feel somewhat good, but in reality the necklace was awful that she planned on throwing it away, not until she heard the story.

"Alam ko nagsisinungaling ka Aurora"he giggled again. Sa totoo lang hindi ako ang gumawa nyan,Galing yan kay Paco nung 12 years old pa sya, Noong dinala mo sya sa mining industry, tinuruan sya gumawa ng maliit na kwintas pero pasmado si sya kaya ganyan ang itsura nyan, tinapon nya yan pero balak nyang ibigay sayo bilang regalo, sinagip Kopa, kasi sayang din totoong ginto ang ginamit dyan.

The moment Amando finished his story, she looked at him with tears, This gift was one of Paco's memorabilia.. she thought to herself.

Before he could speak, she stood up and hugged him tightly, happy tears formed from her face.

"This is the best gift that I have ever received... ever!" she stated, she gently kissed his cheek before pulling away from the embrace.

"Happy birthday Aurora," he smiled

"Thank you Amando" she smiled back
