Lan Qiren arrived at the Yunmeng. He has some disciples with him. They were going to the Lotus Pier directly. They were working in market. The market was crowdy. There were many stalls. They were selling lotus, vegetables, clothes etc. Some customers were bargaining with seller. People were talking to each other.

After hearing Wei Wuxian name, the conversation between two women got Lan Qiren's attention.

He asked the two women,

First woman said," Gongzi, Are you new here?"

Lan Qiren said to disciples, " Let's go to Lotus Pier."

They left for training field.

In the training field, Wei Wuxian and his shidis were practicing sword forms. He was Jiang Fengmian and someone who was wearing white robes with light blue cloud design. He guessed that the man in white was Grandmaster Lan.

The competition Started. Disciples started to spar with each other.
He saw Wei Wuxian was not joining the competition. He asked Jiang Fengmian, " Why Wei Wuxian isn't joining the competition?"

Jiang Fengmian looked at in shock. Everyone stop sparing. They were looking at in their way. They also want to know Why their Shixiong isn't competing.

Lan Qiren said, " Wei Wuxian is also a disciple even if he is the head disciple. So, can join in the competition."

Jiang Fengmian got nervous. He didn't want Wei Wuxian to leave his kingdom. He didn't pick up Wei Wuxian from the street only to give him to another sect. He fears if Wei Wuxian gets out of the kingdom, he will lose like had lost Wei Changze. He didn't wanted Wei Changze to leave his kingdom. But if he refused Lan Qiren, then that will bring problems for his family. If he goes against Lan Qiren, that will bring disaster to his kingdom. Because Lan kingdom has good relationship with Nie kingdom. The Lan prince is sword brother with the crown prince Nie.

So, he agreed with Lan Qiren. " Wei Wuxian, you can join the competition."

As the competition come to end. The winner was Wei Wuxian.

Lan Qiren said, " The winner is Wei Wuxian. He will be the guest disciple for one year our kingdom. Later he can decide if he wants be a member of Lan kingdom or to be rouge cultivator or continue as Jiang disciple." He turned to Wei Wuxian and continued," Wei Wuxian, you can pack your things. We will start our journey at night. King Jiang thanks for giving us a promising cultivator to us. "

Lan Qiren said all the things. So, Jiang Fengmian has no room to refuse. But he believes Wei Wuxian will come back. His years of manipulating can't get spoiled so soon. Jiang Fengmian said to Wei Wuxian, " A-xian remember us. Our kingdom is always open for you. I know you will come back. A-li and A-cheng will missed you."

Wei Wuxian couldn't believe he is going leave this place. But he was happy that he can live freely. No one else will be there to abused him. No one else will tell him to endure the abused. He is free now.

He couldn't also believe the man, he thought as uncle when he picked him up from street, want him to return to this place after a year. He knows about everything madam Yu did to him. He still expecting from him to return. He feels sad that he couldn't repay the debts. So, he will return after a year and will repay the debts.

Now he goes to Jiang Fen to tell her about leaving the kingdom.
