I DON'T OWN ANYTHING. THIS FANFICTION IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. The setting and main characters of this fanfiction are from the story of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, the author of Mo Dao Zu Shi. I really adore her work and way of making danmei, she's my inspiration in writing this fanfiction.

Just a disclaimer though, for this fanfiction I made MAJOR and HEAVY changes. First, there will be changes in the world-building of the story, this includes the cultivation system and politics related to it. Second, the main character's personality and back stories might be OOC (out of character) compared to the original so if you're not a fan of OOC then this is not a fanfiction for you. And third, please take note that I am not that familiar with the cultivating world and system so most of the things you will read here are just a product of my silly imagination. All places and characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

Additional notes, English is not my first language so expect very simple English writing in here (possible wrong grammar and misspelled words and other errors, I don't have a beta reader, I'm doing things on my own so I'm sorry in advance). But I tried my best to make this at least readable and easy to digest. Also, I'm already going to tell you as early as now, I know for Lan SizhuiXJin Ling ship, the popular route is Lan Sizhui (top) and Jin Ling (bottom) but for this story... it's the opposite *wink*

The plot remains the same as THE CULTIVATOR'S SON (TCS), and the major story arcs that was in previous story will still be included here with changes of course. There's also changes in some of the character's name. If you read TCS and planning to just wait for chapters that will resume the previous one then I will not advice that. Please read LBL from the very beginning because I made big changes to it, you will know ones you read it. 

I am not expecting much. I know some of the old readers of The Cultivator's Son might already move on with their life and probably forget about this and I am not sure if I can gain new readers to get interested with this story again but still this project is initially for my self fulfillment and having a readers to read this silly story of mine is a bonus which I will appreciate so much.
