Sofia sat cross-legged on her bed, the soft strumming of her guitar filling the room with a soothing melody. Music had always been her solace, a way to unwind and process everything that had happened in the past week.

Her phone buzzed suddenly, interrupting the soft melody she was playing. She glanced at the screen to see Marius's name flashing.

"Hey Marius," she greeted, trying to keep her voice steady despite the turmoil inside.

"Sofia, you need to see the news. Now.”

Confused, Sofia quickly unlocked her phone and searched for the latest news. As the headlines loaded, her heart skipped a beat.

"Supervillain Stalagmite Strikes Again: Downtown Sculptures Turned to Stone"

Sofia's eyes widened as she read the article. Images of statues that were once people filled her screen, their expressions frozen in fear. The report detailed how a new supervillain, known as Stalagmite, had emerged, using dark magic to petrify innocent bystanders. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"Marius, this is... this is horrible," she managed, her voice trembling."We need to do something!"

"I know," Marius replied grimly. "We're meeting up at the usual spot. The team is already gearing up to track down Stalagmite. Are you in?"

"Of course I'm in. I'll be there as soon as I can."

Ending the call, Sofia set her guitar aside and hurriedly used her magic to change into her superhero outfit.

Cadence rushed to their team's usual meeting spot, the park near their school. Glacial, Blossom, and Crispshade were already gathered, their expressions grave as they discussed their next move.

"We need to act fast," Glacial stated "Stalagmite's powers are growing stronger with each attack."

Blossom nodded in agreement.

"If we don't stop him soon, more innocent people could be turned to stone."

Crispshade adjusted her mask thoughtfully.

"Breeze should be here any minute now. We need to coordinate our plan before Stalagmite arrives."

As if on cue, Breeze soared into view, his wind-blown appearance betraying his hurried flight.

"Guys, Stalagmite is headed this way," he announced breathlessly. "I spotted him downtown, and he's leaving a trail of petrified statues in his wake."

Cadence felt a surge of determination.

"Then let's not waste any time. Blossom, Crispshade, create distractions and secure the perimeter. Glacial, Breeze, you're with me. We'll confront Stalagmite head-on."

They nodded in unison. With a shared glance, they dispersed, each knowing their role in the upcoming confrontation with the menacing supervillain. The park echoed with the rustling of leaves and the crackling of ice as Cadence and her team readied themselves.

Stalagmite's arrival was as ominous as expected. As he  approached, his malevolent aura casting a chill over the park, Cadence sprang into action. She summoned a shimmering water bridge across the path Stalagmite was advancing on, a strategic move to temporarily impede his progress. Glacial swiftly coated the water with a layer of frost, turning it into a slippery trap that hindered Stalagmite's movements.

"Nice work!" Breeze exclaimed, his voice cutting through the tension.

He then took advantage, summoning gusts of wind to disorient Stalagmite. As the villain struggled against the elemental assault, Breeze coordinated with Glacial to encase Stalagmite in a cocoon of icy whirlwinds, temporarily restraining him.
