A ghostly scream pierced through the phone, making everyone jump. Niara's phone was the source of the terrifying sound.
"Niara, what's going on?" Priya asked, concern etched on her face. Niara shook her head.
"I honestly don't know."
Priya quickly turned off the phone and turned it back on. A man's voice spoke on the other end.
Voice on Phone: "Hello, is this Niara? I'm Oppa."
Niara's eyes widen in surprise. She knows that voice-it's her brother, Joon. Confused and a bit unnerved by the scream, she quickly picks up the phone and says hello, her voice barely a whisper.
Niara: "Oppa? What's going on?"
Before Joon can respond, the classroom door swings open, and Professor Suga strides in, his usual stern expression in place. Startled, Niara immediately hangs up the phone, her heart racing.
Professor Suga: "What's all this noise? Don't you have a class right now?"
Priya: "It's English period, sir."
Professor Suga: "Then why aren't you in class?"
Niara: "The rest of the class went to the canteen, sir. We were just about to go too."
Professor Suga looks at the few remaining students, his expression softening slightly as he waves them off.
Professor Suga: "Alright, go on. Just don't be late for the next period."
The students quickly gather their things and leave the classroom, heading toward the canteen. As they walk, Niara's mind races with thoughts of the strange phone call and the ghostly scream.
The next period, the teacher took attendance and noticed that Niara, Anala, and Jungkook were missing. Professor Suga appeared, looking concerned.
"Where are Niara, Anala, and Jungkook?"
The students explained that they had gone to the canteen and never returned. Professor Suga made an announcement:
"From tomorrow, you'll have a new English professor, and I'll be taking over as your class professor."
The next day,
"Good morning students."
