When they finally left the apartment, Magne had disappeared into a familiar warp gate. Meanwhile, Hizashi, Shouta, and Izuku each carried a box of belongings. The two adults made sure to carry their respective boxes with the utmost care. Izuku was silent as they loaded the car and drove off. He only spoke when the apartment building was out of sight.

It was a small 'Thank you' and nothing else.

That was enough.

When they returned back home, they left Izuku alone in his new room and boxes so he could start taking things out and settling in.

The two men took seats on the couch.

"I liked her," Hizashi said breaking the silence of looking towards the hallway where Izuku's door was.

Shouta looked back at his husband. "She's a criminal," he stated simply.

"I know, but she had a funny story about her glasses. Did you know that it's possible for someone to insult and then get accidentally engaged to someone in one sentence? And apparently, that's not the craziest thing she's been involved in. I wish I got to ask her about her serenading a magician though. Oh, but I did get to show her a website where she can buy more shades. She seemed happy with that."

"Mhm"

"Oh come on" - Hizashi nudged Shouta's arm - "you have to have more than that. What did you think of her? Izuku didn't hesitate to hug her."

"They're obviously close and I could see she was concerned about him. Izuku was comfortable with her."

"Do you think he's comfortable with us?"

Hizashi watched as a pensive expression came across Shouta's face. "Partially. Remember we were his teachers first and we let him down. But he does seem to like us," Shouta ended up saying, remembering how in the voicemail Magne said in particular that Izuku liked him.

"Do you think he likes me?"

Shouta sent his husband a disbelieving look. "Zashi, he liked hanging out with you in the infirmary. He let you fix his hair. You taught him how to sign 'good morning' and he had one of your old radios that he's attached to. I don't think you need to be concerned about whether or not he likes you."

"Still-"

"Still nothing. You're being illogical."

"I ju-"

"Zashi, do you want me to ask him?"

Hizashi reached out his arms as if to stop Shouta from even getting off the couch. "No! That'll put pressure and what if he just says yes to not hurt my feelings."

"Your feelings?"

Hizashi frowned, "Ughh yes damn it. Like I said yesterday I'm attached, okay. After all that time, you spent worrying about him before he even went missing and how he was in my class. And now he's living here, I've become attached. I blame you, it's really your fault. Always referring to him as 'Problem Child' all fondly and everything. Seriously, despite what everyone thinks you're such a softi-"

Slowly as the words had come out, Shouta's face had become red until he grabbed a pillow and smushed it against the other man's face, finally cutting him off. But even with the pillow, the man kept talking and when he started to use his quirk, Shouta let his eyes flash red.

While keeping the pillow down and fighting against flailing limbs, Bastard walked by the couch. Clearly unphased by the commotion.

He stared at the two men like they were beneath him.

Feeling the cat's gaze, Shouta looked at him.

"Don't judge me, Bastard. You did this to Spoon just last week."
