The dim light in Mr. Hart's office flickered as Lizzie carefully pushed open the door, her heart pounding with anticipation. She knew she was crossing a line, but that was the least of her concerns. Behind her, Lisa hesitated, clearly nervous about what they were doing, but Lizzie's sharp glance silenced any objections.

"We need to be quick," Lizzie whispered, her voice tinged with urgency. She wasn't about to let anyone, especially not Charlotte Collins, stand in her way.

They moved silently through the office, searching for anything that could be of use. Lizzie's hands trembled with barely contained excitement as she rifled through the drawers. Then, in a dusty corner, she found them-half-burned documents, hidden away as if someone had tried to destroy them.

Lizzie's eyes gleamed with satisfaction as she scanned the pages. "Here it is," she muttered, a cold smile spreading across her face. "Charlotte Elsher. That's the name I needed."

Lisa peered over her shoulder, her face pale as she read the papers. "But this can't be right... Charlotte Elsher was supposed to come to Ravenstone, but she never did. And yet, these records-her grades, her school, her exam scores-they're identical to Charlotte Collins."

Lizzie's smile widened, her voice dripping with vindictive pleasure. "That's because they're the same person. Charlotte has been living a lie, and we've just uncovered it."

Lisa's breath caught in her throat as the full implications hit her. "If this gets out... she'll lose everything. Her place in class, her reputation..."

"That's exactly the point," Lizzie said coldly, her eyes flashing with superiority. "She doesn't belong here. She's been pretending to be someone she's not, and it's time she pays for it."

Lisa hesitated, her conscience gnawing at her, but Lizzie's fierce determination left no room for doubt. "If we expose her," Lizzie continued, her voice low and dangerous, "we'll not only ruin her, but we'll also show everyone who the real superior students are."

Having decided on their course of action, the two girls quietly exited Mr. Hart's office, the stolen documents clutched in Lizzie's hand like a weapon. As they made their way through the dark corridors, Lizzie's mind raced with the possibilities. She could already see the chaos she would unleash, the satisfaction of watching Charlotte's world crumble.

But as they reached the dorms, Lizzie's frustration mounted when she couldn't find Cillian. She needed him to see the truth, to bring Charlotte down once and for all. Lisa, sensing her agitation, suggested they try one more place, and finally, they found him-alone in the hallway, his tall figure leaning casually against the wall.

Lizzie approached him, her expression a mask of dark triumph. "Cillian, you need to see this," she said, thrusting the documents into his hands.

Cillian took the papers, his face unreadable as he scanned the contents. Lizzie watched eagerly, waiting for the outrage she expected to see, the hatred she hoped to ignite. But to her surprise, Cillian's expression remained calm, almost indifferent.

When he finally looked up, his voice was steady. "I already knew."

Lizzie's eyes widened in disbelief. "You... you knew? About Charlotte Elsher and Charlotte Collins?"

Cillian nodded, his gaze unwavering. "Yes, I knew. And it doesn't matter."

"Doesn't matter?" Lizzie's voice rose, her frustration boiling over. "This is huge! She's been deceiving everyone!"

Cillian's expression softened slightly, but his tone remained firm. "What matters is who Charlotte is now. Not who she was. Not what she's done. I've seen her struggle, seen her try to make something of herself here at Ravenstone. That's what matters to me."

Lizzie's face darkened, her superiority complex and deep-seated desire to bring Charlotte down clashing with Cillian's indifference. Her plans were unraveling before her eyes. "So, you're just going to ignore the truth? It seems you're too blinded by whatever you think you see in her."

Cillian's gaze hardened, a hint of warning in his voice. "That's not for you to decide."

Lizzie's heart pounded with a mix of anger and frustration. She had been so sure this revelation would ruin Charlotte's standing and expose her lies. Instead, it only seemed to make Cillian more protective of her. Turning sharply on her heel, Lizzie's mind raced, already plotting her next move. If she couldn't destroy Charlotte through Cillian, she would find another way. This wasn't over.

In the dormitory, Charlotte sat on her bed, lost in thought, oblivious to the storm brewing outside her door. The knock startled her out of her reverie, and she looked up, her heart skipping a beat.

Before she could respond, the door burst open, and Lizzie stormed in, her face twisted with cold triumph.

"We know everything," Lizzie spat, slamming the door behind her. "About Charlotte Elsher. About the lies."

Charlotte's blood ran cold as she realized what Lizzie was talking about. "What are you talking about?" she stammered, trying to feign ignorance.

"Don't play dumb with me," Lizzie hissed, stepping closer, waving the documents in Charlotte's face. "We know you're not who you say you are. We know you're hiding something."

Charlotte's heart raced as she tried to figure out how Lizzie had found out. The walls seemed to close in around her, the weight of her secret pressing down on her.

"Please," she whispered, her voice trembling. "Don't tell anyone. Please."

Lizzie's eyes gleamed with cold malice. "Why shouldn't we? You don't belong here, Charlotte. And when the administration finds out, you'll be kicked out."

Charlotte didn't have an answer. She felt like she was drowning, the pressure of the situation too much to handle. She knew she was trapped, knew there was no way out. But she also knew she couldn't let them destroy everything she had worked so hard to build.

Finally, she looked up, her eyes burning with determination. "Because you don't know what I've been through. You don't know what it's taken for me to get here. And if you think you can just destroy me, you're wrong."

Lizzie exchanged a glance with Lisa before turning to leave. "We'll see about that. But don't think this is over. We'll be watching you, Charlotte. And we won't stop until we've exposed you for who you really are."

As the door slammed shut behind them, Charlotte collapsed onto her bed, her body shaking with sobs. She knew this wasn't over. But she also knew she couldn't give up. Not now. Not when everything was on the line.

Outside, the rain continued to pour, a relentless storm echoing the turmoil within Charlotte's heart. The path ahead was uncertain, fraught with danger and uncertainty. But she was determined to survive, no matter what it took. And she wouldn't let anyone, not even Lizzie and Lisa, stand in her way.
