Jungkook sighs, lying on the green grass near the waterfall. He doesn't understand why his legs took him to the waterfall, but coming here, he feels peaceful. The whole forest is illuminating with moonlight as the sound of a night creature fills his surroundings. The waterfall hitting against the rocks makes a soothing sound, causing him to close his eyes and feel the moment.

"Prince Jungkook."

Jungkook sighs out once again, recognizing Jimin's voice ringing in his head again.

"Not again."

Jungkook muttered, his eyes opening, only to find Jimin standing before him, causing him to curse under his breath with eyes wide in surprise. He realized, Jimin is indeed standing before him and he's not imagining the boy.

"What the fuc—What are you doing here?"

Jungkook demanded, sitting up and glaring at Jimin for being alone at night. As for Jimin, he gulps seeing the alpha's glare.

"I feel restless; that's why I'm here. But, what are you doing here, Prince Jungkook?"

Jimin asks, hesitantly taking a seat beside Jungkook, careful to maintain some distance between them. His heart raced, thinking this was his chance to ask for forgiveness from the prince for his behavior.

"I couldn't fall asleep, and it's not safe to wander alone at night, especially for a pup like you."

Jungkook scolded, causing Jimin to frown upon hearing the alpha calling him a pup.

"I'm not a pup anymore, and I live nearby. I also wanted to apologize for my previous behavior and for calling you Ahjussi."

Jimin said, pouting and nervously playing with his fingers. Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle seeing how small the boy's hand is.

"It's okay, Jimin. And I apologize for my behavior and startling you. I was genuinely happy to see you again."

Jungkook said, and Jimin's cheek flushed hearing the alpha's words, unable to believe that Jungkook remembered him from their first encounter when he was just a child.

"You don't have to apologize, my prince. I'm also happy to meet you, finally. And thank you so much for providing a job to my eomma."

Jimin said, his gaze meeting with Jungkook's warm gaze, and the alpha smiled at him.

"No need to thank me. As your future king, it's my duty to care for my people."

Jungkook says with a smile. Jimin's heart warms at the alpha's words. His mother was right; Jungkook is indeed the kindest person.

"You're so kind, my prince."

Jimin said, admiration shining in his eyes for the alpha.

"Stop referring to me as a Prince. Call me hyung."

Jungkook said gently, smiling softly at the boy. He doesn't understand, but he doesn't want Jimin to always call him with formal name.

"But it's inappropriate, my prince...people might talk."

Jimin said, mindful of the prince's status, and Jungkook hummed.

"Then you can call me hyung when we're alone."

Jungkook said, his tone was warm, and Jimin smiled brightly at the prince. Jimin blushes and tunes his gaze to the waterfall, mustering up courage to say the next words.

"Okay, hyung, and can I be your friend? I deeply regret rejecting your friendship earlier."

Jimin said, really sad to reject the prince before. As for Jungkook, his heart is filled with joy, hearing the boy's word.

"Of course, I would love to be your friend."

Jungkook said, as his wolf within him howled in happiness.
