Azalea sighed internally as she moved her gummies from off her lap, putting on a smile as she got up.
Admittedly, she was happy to see her bestfriend. But with the group of boys behind her? Hell no. She felt her self grow nervous until Adrihanna wrapped her arms around her, pulling her into a giant bear hug. They rocked back and forth slowly rotating so now Lea's back was facing the boys.
"I missed you so much girl! You here alone?" Adrihanna pulled away, holding onto Azaleas hands. "No, Cam is playing over there," she pointed where the little playground was, where she could see Cam trying to climb up the slide.
"Ohh, okay, how yall doing?" She kept her same genuine smile, sitting down on the bench and pulling Azalea down with her. "We're good, but-w-who are they?" She spoke lowly, taking a look to the group of boys. Two of them seemed to be arguing as one threw slick comments in at both of them, and one stood a few inches away, holding his phone in his left hand and right hand in his pocket. He had a deep mug set on his face as he stared at the younger boys, grilling them even.
"Yo.. can yall shut the FUCK up?" He scolded, clearly tired of their loud bickering, startling all of them, even Adrihanna and Azalea. One of them also had a mug on their face and broke the silence, yelling back at him before they started arguing as well.
"Sorry," Adrihanna put an arm around Azalea shoulder, noticing her smile fade away and how she flinched at the yelling. "These are my friends, I met em at school. The one that just yelled like that is Jay. He's like the father of the group. The one yelling at him is ddot, the one with the curly ponytail is notti, and his with the loose curls is dd." She pointed them all out.
The fuck kinda names are these, she thought.
"Those they real names? The fuck is a-Notti? Ddot? Huh?" She looked at Adrihanna as if she was stupid, which made her laugh a little. "Noo, those they street names. They rap. Ghetto, I know." She laughed
Oh.
"Anyway enough of them I ain't jackin em right now," she squinted at them. "But if you're wondering their real names are; Justin, Darrian, Ethan, and David!" She exclaimed, catching all of their undivided attention.
"Adrihanna cut it out with that fed- ohh whos this?" The one named Dd approached them, staring at Azalea. "You're so thirsty my nigga back up! That's my bestfriend." She got up, going into his face.
Now Azalea was really nervous because they noticed her, and it would just be rude for her to attempt and escape without saying hello.
Right?
"Uh.. Adrihanna, I'm gonna-" Azalea spoke lowly. She got up slowly, grabbing her unfinished bag gummy worms and shoving it into her pocket.
"You finna leave now?" She turned around, "dd look what the fuck you did! You scared her away!" She punched his chest, going back to Azalea who looked uncomfortable. "No.. I-I was just going to go get Cam.." She spoke, embarrassed because she started to stutter, which she never did unless she was really nervous.
She tried to focus on Adrihanna, but she felt the burning stares of the boys and it made her want to crawl into a hole and hide there forever.
"Oh, okay. Bring him back here so I can say hi to my favorite little cousin in the whole wide world!" She smiled cheeky, hoping to brighten Azaleas mood, which didn't really work but she tried.
As she started walking away, the boys began going back and forth again-Dd and Jay this time. "See what you did? You so desperate to find a new fuck buddy you made her uncomfortable! This why you can never keep a girl, dickhead." Leaving Dd speechless and the rest of them 'ouu' but Azalea just sped up, walking around the slide and seeing Cam up on the play-set where there was a telescope.
