Anokhi stood outside Aarav's cabin, her heart racing as she mentally prepared herself to see him. Even though they had met yesterday, the memory of the intense moment they shared at dinner still lingered in her mind, making her both excited and slightly nervous, and not to forget she is feeling shy to face him. She took a deep breath, knocked lightly on the door, and then stepped inside his cabin.
Aarav was engrossed in his work, his eyes focused on the screen in front of him as he typed away. He didn’t look up to see who had entered, so Anokhi cleared her throat softly, drawing his attention. The moment Aarav lifted his gaze and saw her standing there, a smile spread across his face. His eyes lit up, and in an instant, he put aside the work in front of him, pushing back from the desk slightly.
“Come here,” he said, his voice a low, inviting rumble.
Anokhi smiled shyly as she walked over to him, but before she could even take a seat, Aarav reached out and pulled her onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her waist. She settled against him, feeling the warmth of his body pressed against hers as they hugged tightly. His embrace was comforting, strong, and filled with a longing that made her heart flutter.
“I’ve missed you,” Aarav murmured into her ear, his voice soft but laced with desire. His lips brushed against her temple as he spoke, and Anokhi felt a shiver run down her spine.
She chuckled lightly, resting her head on his shoulder. “We met yesterday, Aarav. You can’t possibly have missed me that much.”
Aarav pulled back slightly, his hand cupping her chin so that she looked into his eyes. “I didn’t get much alone time with you yesterday,” he said, his voice tinged with frustration. “You know how much I hate being away from you, we are meeting properly almost after two weeks.”
Anokhi felt her cheeks heat up as she blushed, the memory of their heated forbidden moment under the dinner table flashing through her mind. She averted her eyes, trying to maintain her composure, but Aarav wasn’t one to let anything slip by unnoticed.
“Did enjoyed your curry yesterday?” Aarav teased, raising an eyebrow as he smirked. “Why are you blushing? Could it be because of what happened at dinner?”
Anokhi’s blush deepened, and she tried to scold him, her voice flustered. “You shouldn’t have done that in front of my family! It was risky, Aarav. What if someone had noticed?”
Aarav’s smirk grew wider, his hand tracing lazy circles on her waist as he pulled her closer. “But you enjoyed every bit of it, didn’t you?” he whispered, his breath hot against her ear. “The thrill, the excitement... I could feel how much you loved it. So don’t pretend , and stop complaining now.”
Anokhi’s heart raced, her pulse quickening as Aarav’s words sent a wave of desire rushing through her. She opened her mouth to protest, but before she could get the words out, Aarav’s lips crashed down on hers, silencing her with a deep, passionate kiss.
The intensity of the kiss made her head spin, and she instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. His hands roamed over her body, one sliding up her back to hold her firmly in place while the other trailed down to her hips, gripping them possessively. The sensation of his touch made her melt into him, her body responding to the heat and urgency of the moment.
Aarav’s mouth moved against hers with a hunger that left her breathless, his tongue exploring hers in a dance that was both familiar and electrifying. He kissed her with a ferocity that made her forget everything else—the office, the fear, the world around them—and focus solely on the burning desire between them.
