Chapter 5: CEO Jeon

"I hate him!! I f*kin hate him!"

Y/N flares up, rolling her eyes and huffing. Yeonjun somehow controls his giggles. He finds her extremely cute. Well, it's not something new he has been feeling. He had found her the cutest and the most beautiful ever since the first day they met, which was about 15 years from now. They both were each other's first friends.

"Ugh Yeonjun?!! Are you even listening to me?!!" Y/N whines when she sees him lost in his thoughts.

Yeonjun flinches up and he feels his cheeks heating up. Gosh!! He had been staring at her like a creep!! He clears his throat and gives out a laugh, "Yeah yeah... Of course!! Hehe... You should take another chilled latte... Calm down yourself, Y/Nahh!"

Y/N sighs and then gives him a smile. They spend some quality time for about another half an hour until Y/N gets up and makes her way back to her floor. Yeonjun had paid for all the snacks they had. He even gave her another cup of coffee to have while working.

"He's so sweet... " Y/N mumbled to herself and smiles sheepishly when suddenly, someone crashed onto her and all the coffee spilled on her brand new shirt. She cursed as she fell on the floor. The other man grumbled, "F*ck... It's just that clumsy newbie" and dashed out. She looked back at him and yelled in anger, "It was you who crashed onto me! Are you blind?!"

She yelled at him and the other man looked back at her. Gazing at her with those intensely sharp eyes, he narrowed them even more and gave a sinister smirk before walking away, flipping his hair.

Y/N growled in anger. The day was already going way too bad, all thanks to her lovely handsome CEO, Mr. Jeon. Now, this sleepyhead colleague of her made it worse. She got up and went to her desk, grumbling and cursing. Luckily, Taehyung was there to lighten up her mood.

An hour later, it was time to leave and Y/N finally found some peace getting back home. Her mom, all cheerfully, approaches her, beaming with joy, "How was your day, sweetie?"

Y/N forced out a bright smile and lied, "It was fantastic, mom!"

Her mom giggled, "Why not? When my daughter herself is fantastic, how can her day be not?"

"Of course mom!" Y/N let out a fake laugh. There was no way she was going to tell her the truth. Her mom has high expectations from her. She always had, ever since she was a kid. Y/N can never think of disappointing her.

Having dinner, she sat by her bed to write in her diary, her favourite part of the day. Though the day was terrible, yet writing in it makes her calm and feel better. It's her best friend. She writes about everything, how it turned upside down right from the morning, cursing and swearing about her boss and that other sleepyhead colleague of hers.

You know what, some events make me doubt, is he really the guy? Yes, he does look similar but his behavior.... It's not even close! He's cold and rude as hell!! Not like that sweet guy that appears in my flashbacks. Nonetheless, I must keep a clear vision in making a close bond with him. It would be hard but... I've to do it. To know about myself and uncover my mysteries, I've to do it!

Though the day went bad, the other side of her- the good one- she didn't fail to look into the positive side.

Apart from these two, the other people were kind and good. Mr. Jung, Mr. Park and Taehyung... Ah! It was like I've been friends with him for ages!

She giggles while thinking of Taehyung. He's so funny! He just made her day good by accompanying her despite those terrible encounters. Just a day and she already made a friend! She mentally scolds herself for being so sensitive and thinking of the negative things while there was so much more positive facts to look for.
