As the words leave her mouth, Jungkook's eyes turn to doe-like from siren eyes, as he stares at her in disbelief. He's astonished by the level of her boldness. He knows she has been bold since the first day they've met but today, she just went beyond limitations.
He narrows his eyes and lifts one of his eyebrows, "Pardon?"
That deep voice makes Y/N gulp. She knows she has taken a stupid decision and neither does she want to be in a relationship with her cold, ruthless CEO. She's forced and helpless.
"Repeat that again," he says, this time taking a few steps towards her.
She sucks in her breath and lets it go a moment before she stares daringly, right into his eyes and says, louder and clearer this time, "Date me!"
But to her surprise, Jungkook just smirks and then, laughs at her mockingly, "So.... My assumption is right..." He stares at her and licks his lower lip, "You have a crush on me, don't you?"

Y/N almost chokes at his statement. Crush?!! On him out of all people?! "What?! Are you--"
He interrupts her by saying, "Yes, I'm serious. The way you stared at me when you first saw me on the day of your interview, I was sure you liked me. Why not? I know I'm hot," he says proudly, fixing his collar.
Y/N decides to respond to him boldly. She smirks too, walking away from the wall and towards him, getting closer and closer to the point that they're just inches apart now, "I'm not a person to do something for free. You think.... You'll just tell me to keep your...." She touches his red ruby pendant without any hesitation, "a secret... And I will? No way! I need something in return..."
"And you asked to be my girlfriend?" He raises his brows, "Bruh, you could've just asked for money."
"My salary is enough! I don't need any illegal money," she says, "I want a dating experience as I've never dated. I've been looking for a guy but didn't find one yet. So... How about give it a try, hmm?"
Jungkook rolls his eyes, growing irritated as he warns her in his deep, cold voice, "Hands off me, Choi."
She realises what she is doing and immediately takes off her hand from his pendant, crossing her arms around her chest.
He scoffs, "Who do you think you're talking to? That you'll simply come over and ask to date me?"
"Uhm... I'm talking to Jeon Jungkook," she says casually, "Why? What's so special in you?"
She's getting on his nerves now. Jungkook can feel his veins pop out and some beads of sweat, covering his forehead. He's getting frustrated with her now.
"Oh c'mon, Jeon! Just for 5 months!! Can't you even do this?" She says, rolling her eyes.
Jungkook scoffs, "Bruh, you think I've a high tolerance level that I can tolerate you for 5 months?! Hell no!"
