They both look at the rising moon, which looks larger and brighter than usual, making the pitch black sky light up creating beautiful patterns of the clouds. Both of them can feel their pendants glow and can feel that they're getting affected. Y/N gasps and shuts her eyes, touching her glowing pendant, laying under the thick fabric of her turtleneck dress.
Nothing good was happening to them, rather both of them were losing control bit by bit. More than that, the music that was playing in the backdrop was making it worse. Unknowingly, both of them glanced back at the party hall—couples dancing, people cheering— none of them observed that Jungkook and Y/N were away.
Jungkook's breath hitched and he can feel his sweat drop from his forehead. His breathings were so loud that they were clear to Y/N's ears. Y/N's breaths were getting heavier too.
Jungkook couldn't hold himself.
He turns to Y/N and asks her a question out of the blue, "Have you ever dance before?"
Y/N almost chokes on her own spit and looks at him in disbelief, raising one of her eyebrows. Her expression itself speaks 'What?! Are you serious?!'
Jungkook just smirks and keeps that poker face while saying, "I'm asking for real. Have you danced before?"
Y/N looks away, feeling her cheeks heat up and mumbles, "No, I haven't"
"Great, same here," he too mumbles in his husky voice. He stares at her, glancing at her up and down, biting his lower lip, "Wanna try it today?"
Y/N smirks while narrowing her eyes, "Are you checking me out, Jeon?"
"Of course not, Choi. What's there to check you out?" he scoffs and says in a mocking tone, making her clench her jaw in annoyance, "Just felt like it, perhaps the damn music."

Y/N huffs, "Not a bad idea, I guess... Maybe we can try."
With that, Jungkook looks behind to see if anyone was watching. He takes slow steps towards her, he's already so damn hot and handsome and that damn walk.... It seems like he's trying to seduce her or something. With a tight grasp on her waist, he pulls her close to him in a flash and closes the gap between them. He fidgets the tips of his fingers on her tiny waist, grasping it more tightly and pulling her closer and closer to him. Y/N puts her hands on his exposed chest and collarbones, skimming them gently with her soft fingers, making him almost grunt.
They start swaying their bodies along the beat of the music. His one hand on her waist while her one hand placed on his chest, right above his beating heart, their hands intertwined with their fingers firmly interlocked.
Jungkook momentarily brings his face closer to hers, with Y/N's breath hitching at her throat. She has never been this close to him, let alone him, she has never been so close to any guy like this! And the fact that he's her CEO and also her enemy, it must be her f*ckin hormones!!
