(definition: A person ̶y̶/̶n̶ who compulsively works hard and long hours.)

1st POV:

I have only been back for a week, and I have to agree with Sandy. Megapolis is indeed liverier than ever!

I keep hearing all this talk about a guy named "Monkey boy" saving the city from all these bad guys. Kind of like that colorful ninja gang I got to interview back in Japan. But when I tried asking MK about the new hero he just shut the topic down... weird.

It took about a day to get adjusted, because of jet lag, but once I became adjusted I was finally able to continue my work.

Okay if I wake up at 6 I'll have 7 hours to edit my drafts before reading about the Nile River in Egypt. Then I'll have some extra time to edit my coworkers' articles. I can probably read some more about my topics during lunch time. And then I can get back to my computer and continue...

While I planned out my busy day I heard a thud outside my window.

Weird, did a bird just hit the window...

I opened the window to inspect the surroundings. My apartment was on the third floor so it couldn't have been a person who hit it.

Hmmm suspicious....

With one more glance from the left to the right I walked away from the open window. My slippers softly hit the carpeted floor of my home's office. "Okay No more distractions now."

While y/n was at her desk typing away on her computer two little gremlins watched from the window outside hanging upside down from a magic red pole. "I don't know about this Mei. Seems a bit too risky..." said MK as he watches his Nonna read over another article.

"Didn't you say Nonna y/n has been working too hard ever since she got back?"

"well I mean-"

"And didn't you say she doesn't take any breaks even when she eats"

"Uh yeah-"

"And how you have found her asleep on her desk when you visit sometimes in the mornings"

"FInE yes I havE!" MK said he crosses his arms annoyed at the dragons girl correcting facts. "I just want her to take a break from all the writing, reading, and traveling yeah know?" Mei smiles at MK's open words and pushes up a pair of imaginary glasses.

"From my final observations Nonna y/n is suffering from symptoms of workaholic-ness. So I prescribed her a break from the OFFICE ." announced Mei dramatically.

"By using the skeleton key right?" MK asked, taking out said Skeleton key out of his jacket pocket. The temperatur felt like it dropped.

"Well basically yes MK. Yes with the Skeleton Key"

"But what if she sees us and finds out-" MK looks around quickly before saying in a very quiet tone, " that i'm the monkey kid! " Mei rolls her eyes at him and snatches the bone key from MKs hand.

"She won't! Trust me MK, my plan is foolproof." said Mei with total confidence twirling the key. MK glares at her for a bit before giving in "fine-!!" Exclaimed MK.

"For Nonny Y/N!!" said Mei in glee. Meis arms were raised up in exclamation (or down because they were hanging upside down)

"Wait- if Nonna never leaves her office how are we supposed to lock her out?" said MK.

"No worries my dear monkie boi, I have a plan" Mei said with a knowing look in her eyes. She then cups her hands over his ears and whispers "mumble jumble" that translates into a plan.
