Murder Once (Zodiacs)

Capricorn writing here!

And no, Taurus. You will not win. I already beat you!

I have absolutely no idea what else to write as an introduction so let's just get on with it.

The Zodiac House was fairly quiet, the ground floor and second floor were completely abandoned of signs. All zodiacs were on the top floor, their room doors open, packing their luggages peacefully although the usual chatter never left them.

"Is it wrong to be excited about someone being murdered?" Pisces asked while rummaging through his closet, trying to find a nice outfit.

Scorpio, whose room was next door, answered back. "Yes. Very wrong of us. But then again, this is our first case and we are detectives after all."

"So technically, it's alright for us, right?" Libra said, pulling out an outfit out of his closet and closing his door to get changed.

"Guys, stop talking and just find a nice outfit for our client. Put the clothes on and pack your stuff." Taurus sighed, exasperated by all the talking.

"Wait, I still don't get why we need to pack our clothes into bags." Aquarius complained

Cancer stuffed T-shirts and trousers into her luggage "We're staying at the client's house to solve the case. We have like 1 week to solve the murder." She explained before closing her door as well to change into outdoor clothes.

"Oh yay. How exciting. Just what we needed, staying at a murderer's house to solve a murder. It'll be a miracle if we aren't the ones to be killed next." Virgo commented dryly.

"Cheer up, Virgo. It's our first case. Plus, we won't get murdered, the police have set up a camping zone around the house and have a few guards up for a watch shift 24/7. If anything goes wrong, just scream. They'll hear you." Aries' muffled voice said through his closed door.

"Ew. We don't need to police to help. We can solve this ourselves." The deputy spat.

"Geez Loiuz. Who the hell woke Virgo up this morning guys?" Leo muttered.

"We did." Aquarius and Capricorn piped up suddenly.

"What the hell did you guys do to her honestly. She's in such a bad mood today!" Sagittarius questioned.

"Seriously, didn't you see them wipe the cold water off the floor for like, half an hour or so?" Gemini said.

After a while of changing and packing bags, 4 zodiacs had already finished changing.

Gemini and Scorpio were on their phones, spamming competitively, probably playing a game between the two of them or just blowing up the Zodiac Group Chat as a daily activity. While Sagittarius and Virgo were just chilling and talking.

"Does anyone know who's going to pick us up to the client's house?" Leo asked, dragging her luggage down the stairs.

Pisces voice answered from the top floor "THE CLIENT'S NAME IS LYRA. SHE'S THE ONE WHO CALLED US. HOWEVER, THE ONE DRIVING US TO THEIR HOUSE WILL BE A PERSON CALLED CORVUS."

The 4 zodiacs winced and rubbed her ears.

Gemini seemed unbothered, he had headphones on so he couldn't hear Pisces that well.

"You don't need to shout Pisces," Sagittarius said "We can hear you clear enough downstairs."

"YEAH I KNOW. I DID IT TO ANN— OW!" Pisces shouted
