Intro.

Hello! Welcome to When The Plan Fails.

This is a highschool AU (absolutely no ninja or elemental powers)

Before we begin, here's some back ground info 😋

Skylor and Kai are childhood best friends (along with Nya).

Neither of their families were supportive of homosexuality.

So in about middle school, they decided to fake date.

Kai and Skylor would help keep weirdos away from eachother and would tell eachother secrets.

Skylor was adopted at about 4-5 by a kind, Christian family. Her mother had died when she was young and her father was arrested for being a criminal. The family didn't accept gay people sadly, since it was a new concept to them and they'd probably accept if it was explained that it wasn't bad, but they did let her make a lot of choices herself about clothing and religion and partners, since they didn't want to force her into anything.

She has 2 younger siblings, both adopted as well. 10 year old Stella (girl) and 7 year old Finley/Finn (boy)

Kai is gay (for this story), Skylor is lesbian (for this story)

Imma also give Lloyd KoKo as a parent and Garmadon left and didn't return so he's not in the picture.
