The guild[1]

I escaped the grip of my blankets realizing what happened yesterday then got in the shower texting my boss about quitting. My salary was only 2.5k a month. With this kind of money just joining a guild will make me 3 months worth of rent, utilities, and food. I happily took a shower and got ready. I put on a T-shirt with the words "Mama didn't raise no bitch", some blue jeans, and nice tennis shoes.

I got a text back from my boss "Leo please don't quit we can offer you a raise of 250 UCU(Universal credit units I suck at names :p)!!!" Before I would've stayed they always did this. I sent back a "I'm sorry I recently awakened!" He texted back crying emojis, he was an old friend. Luckily the laws around awakened allowed me to quit my current job and join a guild or create a guild.

I decided to start my search for a guild to join. I searched around my area, god praise the internet, and decided on a guild that was actively looking for a healer. They offered a 10k starting bonus, they were obviously desperate. I happily went over to the guild office.

I got there and the building was huge. The walls outside were plated in steel, a nice electric blue with runes littering the edges. I happily went inside the revolving door and went around a few times. There were windows all over and a stained oak desk with a D-ranker manning it. I went over and asked about the job posting.

"Hello, how are you doing?" They asked, looking relieved. I happily responded with a "Good!" I happily followed them as they stood up and brought me to a room and said "The guild master will be with you shortly." I happily waited for the guild master and when he came in I stood up and shaked his hand. He was in battle armor but took it off.

I looked at his appearance in aw, his shirt was unbuttoned revealing a 6-pack and he commanded attention like I had never seen before. He seemed to grab my attention and his every move was elegant. I stared as he swiftly pulled out his chair and sat on it. His eyes looked at me expectantly and I quickly sat down staring at his eyes, a crystal blue that seemed like I could get lost in it. There was a strange possessiveness in his gaze. He seemed to be a beauty who could get whoever he wanted whenever he wanted. He looked around 21. He seemed to catch me staring and chuckled.

He introduced himself saying "I'm the one in charge. These guys always seem to need my help, my name is Mark and I am an A-rank damage dealer." I introduced myself by saying "H-Hello my name is Leo and I'm a 19 year old B-rank healer!" I blushed and gave him my credentials. As I did so he looked at my eyes, a hint of dominance flashing through his eyes. He looked them over boredly and saw that I was a B-rank healer. He looked up at me, eyeing my body.

I watched him stare blushing, I looked at him fumbling with my words before asking "Is there anything I should know about the job?" He nodded and said "You'll get free room and board, all the guildmates live in the same house. It's usually a bit messy." I nodded happily and he handed me what appeared to be a pen. He watched me grab it and starting to look at my body noticing everything about it

He nodded saying "You'll do, Jenna please bring in the contract." A well dressed woman came in and gave it to me. He watched as I kept my eyes on him as if in a trance. I watched him as he grabbed the contract. He waved his hand saying "I hope you'll look over the contract, you should find it to be a very good deal." I saw the signing bonus of 10k and realized I earned 5k monthly with a commission of 10%. I happily signed it and he patted my head, as if I was a puppy, saying "Good boy." I blushed when he called me this.

I happily let him continue until he pulled me in close and whispered "let's go meet the other guildmates." He picked me up in his arms holding me close and happily said "it's good your light, I might end up carrying you for 'speed'." A light blush came across my face and I nodded leaning into him realizing he didn't actually mean it was for speed. We got into a sort of common room while he explained "As a smaller guild we only have one raid team and have yet to do a raid. You're our only healer and we have a few other members!" He seemed to lean in a little close when he said this, my blush never leaving my face.

He walked into the room still carrying me.He was just carrying me in his arms but it seemed an odd bit possessive, the other guild members seemed to pay no mind to this as if it was just his usual saturday morning. He sat me down in a chair and whimpered quietly and he sat down next to me clearly amused. When he sat down he set a hand on my shoulder and pulled me in. He put his arm around me possessively like I was his. This sent a slight tingling through my whole body as I relaxed in his hands.

Leaning into his arms I felt a nice warmth radiate from him. They looked at us annoyed and slowly started introductions. The shortest one introduced herself first "My name is Raven I'm a C-ranked ranged dealer and use guns." She appeared to be around her early twenties, a well built girl who seemed a tad bit aggressive. I quickly decided to ask "Would you mind if I look at your guns?" She shrugged and handed them over, there were no runes, only a basic gun body and a small gemstone fixture.

I gently pulled at the small mana stone faucet. I took out the mana stone and added a rune to spread the mana all over the gun. The rune said "Conduction." I then decided to add a few more runs, one at the front for the exiting bullets saying "Eradication." I also then added a rune at the back linking it to the front boosting rune carving the words "Barrel enhancement" above the rune which said "Energy switch." I happily added one more rune, this one being in the magazine. This rune was more of quality of life then power but it also added a small bit of power. It said "Mana bullet!" This runes power enhancement could be higher or lower so I also added a small switch which controlled how powerful the bullets are. I happily handed it back and she looked at me surprised. She saw the new functionality of it and accepted it joyfully.

I looked at the next one in the line who seemed to be around the same age introducing himself saying "Hello, my name is Brock and I'm a tank. I will probably be relying on you the most!" He seemed a lot kinder than Raven; he had a nice slim build. I curiously asked "Do you happen to have a weapon or shield?" He shook his head and I
moved to the last guild member.

The final member introduced herself, she seemed energetic, appearing to be of similar age to the others. She said "Hello, my name is Daisy and I'm the rogue!" Raven seemed angry when I even looked in Daisy's direction I ignored her stares and asked if she had a weapon. She shook her head so I instead turned back to Mark realizing our position was a bit close.

I felt heat rush to my face and a light pink came across my cheeks. I sat a tad bit farther    from him before he looked me in the eye as if daring me to move any farther. I moved back to his side before he sat me in his lap. The light pink blush became a dark crimson as I sat in his lap. The others seemed uninterested going back to their previous activities. I remembered the contract mentioning something about room and board. I looked up at him deciding to stay in his lap a tiny bit longer enjoying his body heat slightly curling up in lap, leaning into his stomach happily

Just a quick note this time, as always let me know what I need to improve on. Also the average length of a part or chapter should be around 1500 I aim for that but might go under or over. I would say that it doesn't include authors not but this one was only around 1450 words before this soooo it counts now! Also I wrote all three of the first chapters within one day >:3 - Author
