I felt light headed after going through the gate and looked around scared. I hide behind the rest of the party. I looked out of place there, there was a long stone hallway full of monsters, I saw a few monsters that looked like green toddlers wearing linens. Some were holding slingshots while others had swords and shields. There was one with some sort of staff, my heart dropped as I realized it was an elite. I realized they were goblins and looked up at mark.
I saw as Mark looked around and shrugged. I watched all of the party members carefully, making sure no one got hurt. The way they fought looked like an art form, Mark sliced through a few of the goblins and didn't get a single drop of blood on him. He carefully sliced the head off before blocking a different goblins sword. He skewered them and when a different one attacked he hit the top of the goblins head with the legs of one of the skewered ones. He slammed the ground with his sword and a blast expanded from the blade. The blast knocked 4 goblins over and he drew a line covering each one with his sword, the trail being traced by mana, then released his mana. A blast went from the trail, slicing each goblin's head off.
I watched as Raven pulled out her guns, infusing them with mana. The runes responded perfectly, generating bullets made of pure mana. She was very meticulous as she shot each goblin's brain out. She started in the back with the mage looking one and I realized I should probably buff her. I pushed my mana around my veins feeling like lightning going through my veins. I kept spreading it to my staff and I thought "Blessing of power." My mana made some sort of smoky aura around me. The smoke went to her and I looked around seeing Daisy.
She did not act like she looked. She had a fast style to her blades, the blades slicing each goblin's neck. She seemingly was just a blur of light. Instead of blocking the goblin's blades she summoned small shields at where the swords would end up. I kept watching her as she disappeared for a split second. She ended up behind the stone throwers and decapitated them. She finished the throwers right as Mark finished the ones upfront. I looked back to Raven and saw a huge clump of mana gathering around her. She let out a giant bullet of mana. It went right through a bunch of invisible shields around the mage and completely shattered his bones.
I started to gather all the weapons and shields. I carefully put them in my backpack and healed all the small injuries. Mark had a small scratch on his elbow from a little rock hitting it. Raven had a few scratches from the same thing, having focused all her mana on the gun. Daisy seemed to have none so I didn't heal her. I checked my status window and realized I had leveled up.

I realized that my blessing skill had also leveled up.

Blessing of Protection - Absorb 12% of the damage taken into a mana barrier, after breaking release a small blast of damage towards the attacker

I happily followed Mark until he picked back up the leash. I looked up at him sadly. He ignored it and started to pull me forward. I followed him, annoyed. We walked a few miles until I started to slow down. Usually you can only walk 2 miles per stamina point. Consumption increases with speed. We set up camp around 12 miles in. Gates ranged in size, some were as small as a large house while others were as big as a city. There had even been a gate the size of a small island!
