||Chapter 14||

Laura's POV;

I was sitting on my bed, trying to crack a way for me to get out of this dorm without no one seeing that I'm a girl.

You might be saying, 'Well, why can't you be Calum?'

Well, I can't go to my date being Calum! He's a guy!

"Ross, how am I gonna go out without being Calum?" I asked. Ross shrugged and sat beside me on the bed. "You can dress up as Calum and when we get to our date, you change."

I bit my cheek, "I don't know, people will get suspicious.."

"Do you wanna get caught, Laur?" He asked and gave me a look. I sigh, "You know, I'm thinking that your plan is better.."

He smirks and shook his head.

"You know, I still can't believe you did this..." He pointed out. He laid beside me on the bed. "Did what?"

"You know. Pretend you're a guy just to be with me," He smiled as I put my head in his chest.

"I'll always be with you.." I softly said.

I could feel him smile as he wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"So, where you taking me tonight?" Ross asked chuckling. I snort, "I don't know, how about we go out for frozen yogurt?"

"That's perfect." He warmly smiled at me and I giggle. He kisses my cheek as I snuggle even closer to his chest.

"Laur, can I ask you a question?"

"You just did!" I laugh hysterically at my stupid, yet, funny joke. He smiles and shakes his head, "Not funny. Not even the slightest bit."

"But you're smiling and you chuckled!" I thought I made a point right there, but when he shook his head, I knew I was wrong.

"You're adorable laugh makes me smile."

I stop laughing and bit my cheek. I lightly blush and ignored his comment.

"I wanted to ask you.. What are we?" He asked as he looked into my eyes. I avoided eye contact as soon as he asked that question.

"Best friends, of course..." I said, looking at my lap.

"Laura, I know that's not true--.." He tried saying, but I shook my head and cut him off.

"Ross, I don't know what we are, who we are, our feelings. I don't know, I just don't know."

He grabbed my hands and I hugged him. "I already know my feelings, and I already know yours. Why the confusion?" He asked as I burry my head in the crook of his neck.

I ignored his question and said, "I know you like me, but I'm afraid we won't be the same."

But I basically just answered his question. He sighed, "Laura, I promise you, we'll be the same, and if we ever break up, we'll still be the same. Have the same lives. Have the same feelings. And be best friends."

I nod and pull away from our very long hug. He holds my chin as he leans in. I close my eyes as his lips crash into mine.

He puts his hand on my cheek and I put my hand on his neck. He pulled away for a second and whispered, "I love you.."

Our lips brushed against each others, but then he kissed me again.

After a moment of kissing, I pulled away.

"Ross, we need to get ready for our date."

He whined, "5 more minutes." He began to kiss me again, but I pull away once again. I stood up, "That's the biggest lie you'll ever tell yourself."

He laughed, "True."
