My eyes fluttered awake and I snuggled into the whatever was next to me. Wait what? I flew up and dashed under the chair next to the bed. My eyes darting around me and taking in my surroundings. Everything that happened last night came flooding back. Curse my caring heart, but when Kasey gives you a look of complete and utter despair...there is no resisting.

I slowly stick my head back out from under the chair and make my way to the slightly open door. Turning my head to the right I see a hallway going down a ways. I gingerly stroll in the hallway checking for any signs of movement. That is until I hear a knob turning, I freeze.

A door up ahead on the left opens and walks out a freaking god. If I wasn't a cat I would be drooling all over...or am I? Daniel turns and starts walking in my direction only with a towel around his waist and water dripping town his abs.

I think I'm going to have a heart attack.

He looks up and his gaze lands on me. It took a brief second of eye contact before I turned around and hightailed it back the way I came and saw the set of stairs that Kasey walked up last night. I booked it down them and turned left. Seeing a couch I ducked under it and hid.

My heart was racing as I tried to steady my breath. I felt the comfort of the couch hiding me from sight. The drums going off in my ears began to quiet down and my heart is at normal pace again.

I heard loud footsteps come pounding down the stairs. My ears perked up. "Mommy my kitty is gone!" I hear some sniffles.

Kasey's mom shushes her, "Now now don't worry honey, I'm sure she's here somewhere."

"Y...you sure?" Kasey breaths out.

"Yes, now go to the kitchen and eat breakfast that Daddy made, okay? You can go look for her after breakfast."

I sigh and began to crawl out from under the couch. That is when the heavenly scent of bacon and sausage reached my nose. I immediately got up and tracked the smell to it's source. I looked up at the huge kitchen and in it's center was an island of gold.

Not literally but to me it was. A plate of bacon and sausage rested on top. I heard my stomach growl with hunger as I stared at the precious food. I glanced over at Kasey and on her plate rested the gloriousness. Being as cute as I could I rubbed my head against her leg, lightly mewing for food.

She looked down at me and her eyes lit up. "Kitty!" I immediately picked up my game and rolled on the floor and rubbed my head back and forth, all the while keeping eye contact with her.

She cooed at me and picked up a piece of sausage and dropped it on the floor next to me. I pounced on it and immediately gobbled it up. Too soon it was all gone. I licked my chops wanting more. I placed my two front paws on her leg and snuggled my head into her side. Imploring for some more.

She giggled and dropped me some more. I mewed happily. Not long after I was shoved away and the beautiful meat was picked up and thrown away, by none other than Daniel.

"Kay Kay, you can not be feeding that cat our food." Kasey pouted.

I growled lowly. I jumped up on the table and hissed at Daniel as a warning. I walked over to Kasey and rubbed my head against hers and pawed at her hand holding a piece of sausage. Wanting it badly. She complied and gave it to me. I mowed it down and I raised my head to glare at Daniel. Neither one of us willing to back down. He took a step closer as if challenging me. I hissed in reply and took a step closer too.

Our stare down wasn't even broken when Daniels mom walked in. "Kasey you know better than to let the cat on the table." I saw her move in the corner of my eye as she walked toward me. My gaze never let up on Daniels though. Her arms wrapped around me and I let out one last hiss at Daniel before snuggling into his mother's arms. I swear I heard a growl, but I wasn't sure.
