The next day, Yn's class and their seniors gathered in the school hall, awaiting Ms. Choi's arrival. Suddenly, a hand reached out from behind and yanked Yn's hair, pulling her backward. Ella's smirking face came into view, her grip on Yn's hair tightening.
"Yn, what's going on in your life?" Ella sneered, her jealousy simmering just below the surface.
Yn didn't bother responding, but Lisa jumped to her defense. "Ella, leave Yn alone!" Lisa pushed Ella away, sending her tumbling to the floor. Karina rushed to help Ella up, and with a scathing glance, they both stalked off.
Ten minutes later, Ms. Choi arrived, and the students stood to greet her. "Good morning, everyone. Please take your seats."
As they sat down, Ms. Choi began announcing the group assignments. "For this project, you'll be working in groups of four. Here are your groups..."
Yn's heart skipped a beat as she heard her name called. "Group 3 - Yn, Lisa, Jimin, Jungkook."
Lisa whispered in Yn's ear, "Thank God we're together!"
Yn smiled, trying to appear nonchalant. "I'm happy too." But her mind was racing - who were their partners? Were they intelligent?
Just then, Ms. Choi revealed the project topic and dismissed the class. As the students began to disperse, two boys approached Yn and Lisa.
"Hey, are you Yn and Lisa?" one of them asked, flashing a charming smile.
Yn and Lisa nodded in unison. "We're your partners," the boy continued. "Let's meet at the canteen to discuss the project."
Yn's eyes widened as she took in the sight of her partners. They were both handsome, but were they intelligent? And which one was Jungkook, and which one was Jimin?
