Roohina glided down the stairs, resplendent in a light blue maxi dress with a demure high neckline and dramatic puffed sleeves that added a touch of whimsy to her ensemble.

Her trusty Sketchers sneakers dangled from one hand, while her lab coat and bag were neatly balanced in the other. Upon reaching the dining area, she carelessly discarded her shoes on the floor, depositing her bag and lab coat on a nearby chair with a soft whoosh of fabric. With a gentle hum, she drifted into the kitchen to quickly make breakfast for them.

It has been two weeks since they returned from Saudi Arabia and she is going back to work today , Ashmaan already went back to work a week ago__like the workaholic he is.

She decided to make sandwiches and
began gathering all the ingredients. She started by cracking six eggs into a bowl, adding pre-chopped vegetables_onions , bellpeppersand tomatoes__, seasonings, and spices. After mixing everything together, she heated a frying pan over medium heat and poured in a small portion of the egg mixture.

she quickly placed two slices of bread on top, followed by cheese, salad, and sliced steak (which had already been fried)on one of the bread. She added mayonnaise, bell peppers, and other toppings before placing the second slice of bread on top.

She repeated this process five more times, creating a stack of sandwiches.

Once the sandwiches were done , she placed them on a serving platter with a lid .

Next, she turned her attention to preparing a drink to accompany the sandwiches. She decided to make a cold mocha. In a bowl, she combined two tablespoons of coffee with an equal amount of water and sugar. Whipping the mixture with a small whisk, she blended it until it became a creamy, whipped coffee.

The whipped coffee was so fluffy that she carefully spooned it into two cups, adding milk and ice to each. She then placed lids on the cups and carried them to the dining table, where the sandwiches were already waiting, leaving the maids in the kitchen to clear up.

Roohina had finished setting the table for breakfast but hadn't eaten yet. She made a move to go and call Ashmaan to eat breakfast before he leaves for work.

As she turned to head upstairs, she saw Ashmaan descending the stairs, looking dashing in a tailored tomford blue blazer, and slacks. His outfit was perfectly put together, accentuating his fit physique. She couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest as she took in the sight of him.

But she quickly replaced the flutter with a sense of nonchalance, trying to act as if she wasn't checking him out when their eyes met , she hastily removed her gaze, trying to play it cool.

Ashmaan seemed oblivious to her gaze, but Roohina could sense a hint of a smile playing on his lips. She tried to brush off the feeling, telling herself she was just being friendly.

As Ashmaan strolled into the dining area, Roohina greeted him with a warm smile and a cheerful "Good morning!" Her eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief, and her voice was like a gentle breeze on a summer day. "Breakfast is ready, come and eat!"

" morning , okay " Ashmaan said , his gaze met hers, but only for a fleeting moment, before his attention drifted to the delectable spread before them. Roohina had prepared six sandwiches, each one a masterpiece of culinary art. She served herself three, accompanied by a mug of iced mocha, and served Ashmaan two. His eyes narrowed slightly, his expression a blend of amusement and teasing.

"Foodie," he whispered, his voice low and playful.

Roohina rolled her eyes, a hint of a smile still dancing on her lips. "Whatever," she replied, her tone laced with mock annoyance.
