YOU BELONG TO ME

CHAPTER NINE: HE IS GONE

The Makhtoum Family that were remaining waiting hall were Ashmaan , ummie ,  farouq,  aariz , aahil , husnah , jasmine and the twins. The rest were long gone because it has been six hours eversince Roohina entered the OR.

The door creaked revealing a tiredly-looking Roohina,  who has a surgical facemask covering half of her face with bloody scrubs.

" how is my daughter doctor? " ummie asked .

" she is__" Roohina was about to reply when ashmaan cut her off.

" why are talking slowly,  just fucking answer us " Ashmaan cut her off impatiently.

" gee , why are so impatient and i wasn't even talking to you "

" i__" ashmaan started but is cut off by Roohina.  Tit for tat.

" listen , if you don't keep quiet , wallahi i will not say anything about your sister's condition, it's either you talk or i talk , choose one "

Ashmaan sighed while narrowing his gaze at her.

" dear , please tell me , what happened to my daughter, is she okay ? How about my grandchild? I hope they are both okay ? " ummie panted.

" ma'am please calm down  , your daughter is perfectly alright and is now sleeping " Roohina said while smiling.

" and my grandchild ?."

" she is also healthy and fine . She is also very cute "

" Alhamdulillah , its a girl , thank you for saving my daughter dear " ummie said and subconsciously hugged her which Roohina reciprocated the gesture.

" no need to thank me ma'am , am just doing my job , you can see her and the baby "

Even before Roohina finished talking ashmaan ambled into the OR  which made ummie to shake her head while hissing.

" this man will never change his way of acting arrogant " ummie mumbled before she also walked in together with farouq and the rest.

She walked into the empty house looking tired and exhausted.  She sprinted to her room to bath and change then later came out of the room clad in a simple a
T.Y PASSION  pyjamas.

She maneuvered to paapa's room to check up on him , she knocked the door and waited for like 2 minutes before sauntering in. She saw him sleeping peacefully on his bed . She smiled and was about to go when his voice stopped her.

" roohi ? When did you come back? "

She walked to his bed before answering.

" i just came back , where is ruma ? "

" she and ruby went for shopping with amir "

" kutt!! They are going to bankrupt ya amir without me , why didn't they call me ? "She said while pouting.

" ask them."

" i will " she said and was about to turn back when she noticed a red dot on papa's forehead , she glanced at the window and saw a laser gun. And before she could assimilate what was happening,  paapa was shot directly at his forehead.

" paapa" she shouted and ran to the window to see the person but ended up seeing nothing.

" paapa , don't worry nothing will happen to you , insha'Allah. Just don't close your eyes" she said while bringing her phone to call the ambulance.

" no roohi., its my time , i can feel it "

" no paapa , it's not ,  the ambulance are coming "
