Eight

Jack's p.o.v.
"Darksepticeye?" I call into the darkness that surrounds me. I breathe a sigh of relief when he appears out of the darkness.
"Jack, do you believe me now?" he asked quietly and nervously.
"Yes, I should have believed you in the first place," I told him.
Darksepticeye shook his head.
"No it makes sense for you not to believe me, I am the dark version of you," he said.
I walked over to him and hugged him. Darksepticeye hesitated before hugging back. We broke apart.
"You know for the dark version of me, your pretty nice," I said with a smile.
"It's because I lived with Sam before he, you know, went crazy, but he was very kind to me so I developed a heart unlike most other dark versions, I'm different," he explained.
I smiled. Just then I saw a flash of green and my smile faded. I turned to see Sam floating towards us.
"What's going on here?" Sam demanded.
"I just wanted to see Darksepticeye," I explained.
"I know you know the truth," Sam said and glared daggers at me.
"What truth?" I asked hoping he would buy it.
"Stop lying!" Sam screamed and started moving towards me. "Since you know I'm going to have to kill you!" I screamed and blacked out.

I woke up to see a worried Mark staring at me.
"What happened?" I asked.
"You were screaming in your sleep so I came and woke you up," he replied.
"Can Sam kill me in a dream?"
"Not sure. Your alter egos are more complex then mine."
"We have to save Darksepticeye!" I gasped.
"Tomorrow when your well rested," Mark said as he got up to leave. I grabbed his wrist. He turned around and looked at me.
"Please stay, I don't want to be alone," I whispered. Mark walked over and laid down in the spot next to me.

Mark's p.o.v.
I looked over at Jack who was beside me. He looked so scared, I knew he wasn't sleeping anytime soon.
"Jack?" He looked over at me.
"Are you okay?" I asked quietly.
Jack shook his head and curled into a ball. I put my arms around him and pulled him into a hug. I remember Jack saying thanks then a soft snoring. Then I passed out.
