Last Day

It's your sixth day in New York which meant your last day. The doctors said Austin was going to be released Sunday. You have to leave Saturday to be back by Sunday. You decided not to tell Austin. You didn't want put more stress on him. Neither of you have talked about the kiss. You were terrified he just didn't feel the same way you did and he'll know how you felt about him. At 12:00pm you went to the hospital.
"Hey guys" you said pecking your head through the door of Austin's hospital room. "Hey"Zach, Mama Mahone, Robert, Austin said at the same time.
"Hey someone seems really happy" Alex said laughing.
"Well life to short to be sad" You smiled.
"True that" Austin said laughing.
"Thought you wouldn't be so happy today" Zach said looking at you with a confused stare.
"Why?" you replied giving Zach the stare to not say anything about today being your last day.
"Cause you usually aren't a morning person" Zach replied fake laughing. Trying to make it more believable.
"Yeah, is Sunday your last day here Austin?" you asked Austin trying to change the subject. So he wouldn't notice Zach's horrible fake laughing.
"There still running test. So it will probably be Monday".
You frowned knowing you won't be able give Austin a real goodbye.
"Well I am hungry so who wants to come with me for some food" Robert asked.
"Me" Alex instantly shouted. You and Zach couldn't help but laugh because he sound like a kid who just got offered ice cream.
"I want tacos, but where?" Zach asked.
"I know where they make the best tacos but I don't want leave Austin alone" Mama Mahone said while looking at Austin rubbing his arm for comfort.
"It's ok I'll say with him. Just remember bring me a two soft shell taco" you said laughing.
"You sure?" Mama Mahone replied in a reinsurance tone.
"Oh course. Don't worry."
After everyone left you and Austin had an awkward moment of silence for like 5 minutes. Both of you avoided looking at each other. Which never happened between each other. After another 2 minutes of silence you broke the ice. "So how are you felling."
"Fine, sorry about yesterday"
"What do you mean"
"When I kissed you. I shouldn't have done that."
"Don't worry. It okay"
"No I shouldn-"
Austin was interrupted by his phone. "Hey can you get it for me."
"Eh...sure" The caller id was Camila's name with heart eye emoji and the heart emoji. You turned off sound so it couldn't ring. "Um...it was a...unknown caller"
you stuttered. You felt awful because you never lied to him but your jealousy took over.
"Oh did they hang up?"
"Yeah...Uh Austin tell me the truth please are you and Camila something?" It hurt you so bad to ask. But you knew not knowing would hurt you so much more.
"Y/N I told you were just friends" Austin said in a defensive tone.
"Zach told me you been keeping in contact with her more then usual after she came"
"Yeah doesn't mean were a dating are you getting jealous"
You didn't answer for like not knowing what to say.
"Y/N? Answer me what's going one with you and Camila?" Austin raised his voice:
"Sorry just the tabloids. And you know I don't like being lied too"
"You know I would never lie to you their all false. Anyway theirs only one chick on my mind"
"Oh who?" You couldn't help but ask.
"Why so many questions?"
"Sorry" You felt like you just got punched in the gut. A tear rolled down your cheek. But you quickly whipped it off before Austin noticed.
"Its ok just what's happening to you lately you seem different." He sounds so concerned.
"Nothing" you whispered under your voice.
You didn't talk after that. Few minutes  later Austin's phone viderated. You got it for him again. It was Camila. "It's Camila".
"Please pick it up for me."
Once you picked it up all you hear is"Hey babe I am flying into New York today." You threw the phone at Austin not caring about anything. It felt like your heart was ripped out of your chest. You ran out not saying a word. You called your mom to pick you up.  You texted Zach saying "Hey Zach sorry if you got my tacos. My flight will be leaving soon. And please tell Mama Mahone sorry I left Au-" You stopped typing. You couldn't bare to write his name. You continued I left her son alone. Also please tell everyone bye for me thanks." It was so hard not to type that without bursting into tears. You had 4 hours till your flight but you couldn't stand looking at Austin when he clearly lied to you. No one calls someone babe unless 1. Their kid 2.close friend which last time I checked we were closer then them 3. If your dating. It must be stupid 3 why why did he lie how could he do this.
Your things were all packed so you and your mom check out to see if you can get on a ealier. The earliest flight was 3:40 which was 1 hour and 50 minutes earlier then than flight you officially scheduled. Zach texted you back "Wasn't your flight at 5:00pm" You texted back saying "yes but something happned my new flight is at 3:40." When you left Austin's room it was 1:37. "Well me and the guys wanna say bye so we might pay you a vist"
"I loved that. Thank you" You couldn't blame them. Odds are Austin was lying them as he was to you.
Austin POV
"Who are you texting? Do you have a girl now" I had to ask. Since he was so quick to reply to her.
Zach laughed "if you claim Y/N being my girl sure"
"What. Well whatever she been acting shady lately" I can't believe Y/N is texting him. She should be texting me sorry after throwing my phone at me. For no reason like if she didn't wanna pick up my phone just say it not need to throw it.  Well guess now that I might be paralyzed she moving on to Zach. Thought she was different but guess not. She just like the others into the money.
"Must be just you bro but I got to go say bye to her.
"Wait. What when is she leave?!"
"She leaving in an hour." Zach said sounding confused. Probably because she treating him like she treated me.
"What she leavening?" Wow she couldn't tell me she's leavening. I can't even say my goodbye. This chick got some nerve. I don't know why she changed all of a sudden but ever since this incident she been acting weird distant. Why what happen. What did Camila say that tricked her.
"Guessing she didn't tell you. Today is last day in New York. Her flight was at 5 but then something happened and now its at 3:40."
"Well I need say bye she came on this trip for me." At lest that's what she said.
"Sorry Austin but your not getting up from this bed till your results are back and you have permission by the doctor to be released" My mom said. I love her to death. But wish she would understand my situation right now. The love of my life is leaving. With no goodbye. No explanation of why she stormed out or throw my phone nearly hitting my you know who. I needed to see her I have too.
"I'll be fine the doctors told me. While you were gone the result came in. I'm not paralyzed so I can walk. They just haven't finalized them yet."
"Austin no." She gave my the death look.
"Fine" I huffed.
"Sorry bro see you in a bit bye" Zach said while walking out. Is it crazy for me to think there's something going on between those too. Like now they keep in touch more then usual. But then why would she be jealous of Camila. At lest she rubbed off being jealous. Maybe she was lying.I thought she felt the same but guess not. I need get out of here and to the airport I need answers. And I have to show her how much I love her. That I don't like Camila. I like Y/N.
"Mom"
"Yes Austin"
"I am hungry can you get me food"
"You just had tacos"
"I know but I am craving white Oreos" I pouting my lips to look like a sad puppy.
"Fine just because I love you and I know you need your white Oreos. Be good text me if the doctors come with result though"
"Okay mom love you" Once she left I checked if she wasn't at the front desk. I found my clothes that were ready for me so when I was released. I found a old sticker of Alex on a tee shirt he left. People say I look a bit like him so lets hope this works. I did the old put pillows under sheets trick. I walked out with no problem. Thank the heavens my wallet was in my pocket so I was able to call a taxi.

Your POV
Zach, Rob, and Alex were there in 30minutes. "Hey girly where you going without saying bye" Alex claimed with his arms wide open for a bear hug.
"Sorry I had to change my flight but I'm super happy you guys came to say bye to me means a lot" You couldn't help to smile. Although you were still hurt by Austin.
"No problem girly" Alex said with a wink"
"Be careful Austin might jump you for winking at his girl" Zach joked.
Alex and Rob laughed. You didn't want bring the guys into this mess so you just flashed a fake smile. You didn't want to spoil this moment. We all talked till they called your flight number for the last time. "Well I should go now see you in Miami" you were waving goodbye while walking to the line. When you were just next to give your ticket to the lady. You looked back and waved your last goodbye for the last time. You heared someone calling your name so you look back and all the guys were out of your sight. You just turn around and gave the lady your ticket. In till all of a sudden you hear the inercome saying "Y/F/N Please come to the front desk." The lady kindly gave you back your ticket. You looked at your mom and gave her the look if your not back in 10 minutes they kidnapped you. On your way to the front desk you saw Austin. You thought he came to see his beautiful Camila. So you passed by him. "Y/N please wait" Austin plead.
"I don't have time for games" you snapped.
"I was the one who asked the front desk to call you."
You turn around and start walking to you flight line again. Not caring or wanting to know what he needed to say. They've been all lies anyway. "Are you going to ignore me"
"I know your here for Camila. Don't act like your here say bye to me. I bet you saw the guys and they told you. So you think saying bye would make our friendship better, well your wrong. I have a flight to go on bye" you walked away.
"I shouldn't of known. Your just like the rest of the girls. Play with them once your done leave them." He snarled. You turned around and stood face to face. Waiting for an apology. Austin looking straight into his eyes. "What you don't like the truth" Austin said rudly. You slap him. And stormed off crying. Once Austin was thinking clearly again. He ran after you and grabbed your arm. He spun you around to wear you both can see each other.
"LET ME GO!" You cried. You whipped your tears you didn't want to show Austin won. "What?!Don't you think you insulted me enough. Just leave me alone."
Austin pulled you into a kiss. You tried pushing away but he would hold you tighter. It was to the point where you weren't able to move. Once he relased you. You tried to slap him again but he caught your arm before you could. "Let me go your hurting me" you said giving him the you've got 3 second loll until you scream.
"No I wont, not till you listen."
"Listen to what more of your insults. NO! The whole kiss her after doesn't work on me. NOW LET ME GO" you yelled.
"Y/N look at me. I love you. Your the only girl on my mind. Yes, Camila is pretty."You turned away when he said that. "Let me go please" you whispered had no more energy to fight. Dropped your head. Trying to hide the fact your crying. Every time he complainants her it's like another stab in your back. Your still trying to get out of his grip.
"But shes not as beautiful as you. Y/N your beautiful inside and out. That's all I need and all I want." You rose your head raising a eyebrow. Not understanding why. Why now. Why call me a gold digger and then kiss me. Not just that say he loves me. You stopped trying to wiggled out this grip.
He whipped the tear going down your rosy cheeks "I would scream it at the tops of a mountain if need too. That I love Y/N and only YOU." Once he finished he let you go.
"So you would shout it from the tops of a mountain right?"
"Yes. I love you. I love you so much." His tone was very sincere.
"Well there's no mountain here. Would you scream it here?"
"ME AUSTIN CATER MAHONE LOVES Y/F/N SHES THE ONLY GIRL I THINK ABOUT ONLY GIRL I DREAM ABOUT AND ONLY GIRL I WILL LOVE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE" Austin shouted so loud that everyone stopped to stare at us.  You loved how he didn't hesitate. You started to burst out laughing because was so cute and funny at the same time. Once you finally stopped you looked at Austin. "What was that not loud enough? I'll scream higher if you want me too." You pull Austin into a kiss. You felt him smiling while kissing you. He pulled back a bit and said "You know I love you" You pulled him back into a kiss and then said "Yes."
