Falling In Love - A Shivian Poem

The universe is a powerful thing,

There are 8 billion people in the world,

Yet somehow you managed to find your way to me.

I don't believe in fate... but I do believe in love.

You remind me of walking on the sand

on a warm Summer's day.

You were like coming up for a breath of air

when I was drowning.

There are certain things that work in the world...

Belle and the Beast,

Mike and Sully...

Me and You.

It's like I was drowning,

And you rescued me.

You unknowingly began fixing a heart

That you hadn't broken, Viv.

Maybe it was fate,

Maybe it was the universe's way of making sure we ended together,

But what I do know

Is that I don't believe in fate

But I do believe I'm falling in love...

With you.
