I want to be Happy - A Carly poem.

When I was five, I wanted to be a princess.

But not like Anne or Kate or Charlotte.

I wanted to be a Disney princess,

Trapped in a tower waiting for true love's kiss.

I am still waiting...

When I was eleven, I wanted to be a teacher.

Not a teacher of maths or English.

But to teach that happiness does come around

And safety can be found.

Now at seventeen,

I still want to be a nursery nurse

But I want to be happy.

That is my simple wish.
