I'm so tired.

I'm tired of falling down a dark hole,

Only unlike Alice,

My end isn't coming any time soon.

The further I fall,

The more I only feel alone.

There's no white rabbit or mad hatter

Coming to greet me.

Instead there's the queen of hearts,

Her words echoing through the cave,

"eat this cake, drink this drink"

It will make you lose weight and fix your anxieties.

Her pack of cards,

Cowering away from her,

As her words are

Carved into their skin.

And now mine too.

I would like to apologise for this one, it hits home for me so I can imagine it does for many of you also.
