, I had a few spare hours so I decided to continue for a bit, so I'm not fully back to schedule yet.
I felt sick to my stomach the next day in class, I'm technically a spy for the League of Villains now. I know I had no other choice and even the teachers told me to go along with it, I could help but feel that I could have done something better in the moment.I look around to see the people I'm lying to.
My thought process was yet again overthrown by Mr Aizawa
"Class, today we will be going through Internships, we were going to do Internships after the Spirts festival, but Agencies feel that they have a good enough idea of how you work as heroes after seeing you on the news in the USJ incident" he said as blandly as always
He then hands out a slip to everyone with the Agencies that applied for us to work with them. And to my surprise, I have plenty option, this is probably due to jumping onto the Nomu to stop it from attacking Aizawa without second thought, bravery is no doubt a highly requested trait for Interns.
As I scan my options, a few surprise me, especially the Endeavor agency, no way the Number 2 hero wants me specifically to work with him
I continue reading until a specific option makes me stop. The Deadpool Agency
No way, the same hero my dad worked with wants me?!
The thought of working at the Endeavor Agency is immediately replaced with working at the Deadpool Agency, I remember the stories that my Dad told me of how fun it was to work with him, and from what I've seen in the TV, I don't think Endeavor can replicate that.
I put the sheet into my bag and go over to see what everyone else got. There's some I've heard of, and some I have never heard of. Goes to show how big the hero world is, even in just Japan.
The day goes by and the thoughts of being a spy for the League of Villains takes hold of my mind again. How long will it be until I have to do a job for them? What would I do if I had to hurt someone in my class or even worse, kill them?
My inner turmoil must have been obvious because someone interrupts it
"You good Logan?" Sero asked
"Yeah uhh.. just thinking about the Internships" I lied
"Dude you probably got loads of choices, I mean, you were the only one to try and stop that Nomu thing" Sero continued
"Yeah, and he got his head stomped in while he was at it" Bakugo interrupted
I sigh and say "Yeah, thanks for pointing it out, Bakugo"
"Got any idea who's agency your gonna go to?" Sero asked
"Yeah, I'm thinking of Deadpool's agency, since my dad worked with him quite a few times" I say
"Deadpool? Isn't that the guy in red suit and katanas and all that" He asks
"Yeah, he worked with my dad back in the day" I clarify
"Makes sense, I guess" He replies
Homeroom eventually ends and I go and hand my slip in. Aizawa takes it and has a look at it
"Deadpool? Really? You even got an application from Endeavor and you choose this?" Aizawa says surprised at my choice
"Yeah, Deadpool worked with my dad, and I'd rather work with someone on a lower level than someone as popular as Endeavor" I explain
"Hmm. Deadpool isn't a.. how do I put it, a conventional hero, he is sometimes interpreted as having a big mouth or being to brutal with the villains he catches, so take his teachings with a pinch of salt" Aizawa warns
