The sheet stared back at me, while the sheet gave me 3 options, only the top one was filled out, U.A. Everyone wanted to attend, it was the dream for pretty much most aspiring heroes, since most Pros graduated from that very school. But as with all things, it's easier said than done, getting in was notoriously difficult, both theory and practical entrance exams had a low pass rate.

I put the sheet down back on my desk and sighed. It's U.A or nothing. All the other hero schools are either too far away or just won't cut it

I heard the front door open and shut, signalling my mom's return. It must be late than if she's back home, considering she works most of the late shifts no one else would do. Whatever pays the bills.

'I'll get into U.A, I'll make everyone proud' I thought, an attempt of self motivation. I folded the sheet up and left it on my desk and lied down on my bed, the exhaustion immediately kicking in and sleep coming into effect not long after.

A couple weeks passed and eventually a letter with the big, gold letters of 'UA' on the front arrived in the post. I teared it open and my eyes flied over the words and my heartbeat soared after reading it

'I got accepted into the entrance exam' I muttered to  myself, a mixture or shock, excitement and nervousness flooding my head

'The hard part is yet to come' I thought, reasoning the situation 'You have to pass both exams, or you won't actually be accepted into U.A'

All the reason to work harder then

My mom eventually got home, coming back earlier than usual, she was so surprised when she heard the news. She was sceptical at first when I told her that I will only be applying to U.A only, concerned if they would even accept me into the entrance exams, but I was sure of myself and my decision, and my luck has finally paid off

'But the hard part is yet to come' I mentally reminded myself
