Cole's pov ( surprise )

I have had a really good time today but for some reason I feel this weird connection with Brielle. Absolutely not romantic though more of a protective big brother in a sense. From the looks of it she's a little which I'll never judge, hell I have a little boy of my own. Of course I know what went down upstairs and heard it of course it's nothing to be embarrassed about but I'm sure Brielle doesn't feel that way, no little ever does. I know how Jacob looks at her and the way she feels about him isn't very clear but I'm positive they like each other.

It's been about an hour since they've been upstairs and I finally hear moving around. Brielle comes bounding down the stairs in bluey pajamas and a bluey pacifier between her lips obviously in little space but Jacob is no where behind her. " Hey Brielle where's jacob, what are you doing down here all by yourself " I asked her in a sweet calm tone. She cocked her head and took her pacifier out of her mouth " daddy's still asleep and I'm a'posed to 'poligize to you, I'm sorry bubba " she said and shocked me first by calling me bubba second by tucking into my side and giving a big hug.

" it's ok Brielle but don't you think your too little to be without your daddy, what if I wasn't here to watch you and you got hurt somehow " I asked her noticing she's deep in little space. " I wan-ed to 'poligize and make sure you fo-gave me, I feel really bad and did not mean to hurt you " she told me. All the sudden I heard a worried shout for upstairs " sweetheart where are you baby " came Jacob's voice. " she's down here bro it's all good " I called up to him.

He came down the stairs out of breath and when he caught it he started speaking. " Sweetheart you can't just leave without telling me where your going I got really worried " he said to Brielle. " 'm sowwy I jus wan'ed to 'poligize to bubba go be'in mean " she said in my little voice sounding close to tears from being scolded. He looked as shoked as I was she called me bubba " I'm okay baby come here and give me a hug daddy was just worried " he said calling her over to him.

She went over and gave him a bear hug then he looked over at me. " Thank you for watching over her man I don't know what would've happened if the little one was up by herself down here " he said to me gratefully. " it's all good man but do you know why she called me bubba " I asked him. He just shrugged his shoulders letting me know that he had no clue either. " she probably just feels really comfortable with you and see's you as a brother figure but how about we watch the movie now " he suggested and that's just what we did starting our suffering through Moana.

Sorry for the short chapter that took a long time I have a special needs toddler who has like 3 appointments a week and I only have a 3 or 4 hours to write a week unless my husbands mom watcher her but I  really wanted to get Cole's pov in here and make it a nice sort of cute chapter. You wont have to wait long to find out who he is to brielle but honestly probably won't be too big of a shocker.
