This is set for 2 hours after Jacob and brielle went to sleep from having the little day. Brielle was up because she is somewhat of a light sleeper.

Cole's pov

I knew it, I absolutely knew it and this is why I should always trust my gut. After meeting Brielle I started thinking our features we're just too similar. So I might be a crazy person for this but I took a piece of hair from her hairbrush and dropped it off to a contact of mine in a lab for a DNA test. Obviously like I thought the results came back, she is my half sister and we have the same father.

I was adopted at a really young age. My father ran out on my mother when he found out she was pregnant and my mom wasn't ready to be one. I tried to get in contact with my mother a few year ago but ' she wanted to leave her past in the past ' or so she told me. My father I never really tried to find him but now I find out I have a sister.

Not to mention she's also a little and from what Jacob told me a until recently very unsupervised one. Right now though I'm in my car driving to Jacob's house to speak to him and Brielle. Honestly I'm very nervous, will she accept me as her big brother or reject me like my parents. I finally arrived time to do this, no turning back once I knock on the door. Holding my breath I knock on the door and wait.

I heard little footsteps hitting the floor and the door swings open revealing my cutie of a little sister. When she see's me she smiles a little and I can tell she's in a bigger headspace which is great for the conversation we need to have. " Hey Brielle is Jacob home " I ask her in the most not stressed tone I can muster. " yeah he's home let me go and wake him up " she said running off to find him.

"Hey man what's up, we weren't expecting you today " Jacob said to me coming up to the door with his eyebrows raised in confusion. " Hey yeah I got something really important to talk about with you and Brielle but you need to hear about it first, you know better than I do about how she reacts to certain things and I'll need you prepared and your emotions already out of the way " I said to him pretty much all in one breath. " Okay I'll hear you out come on in, sweetheart can you go up to the bedroom for a bit so me and Cole can have a private talk " he said agreeing to hear me out then politely getting Brielle to be out of hearing range. We went into the kitchen and got drinks and a snack before sitting down in the living room to talk, well here goes nothing I guess.

" So I did something you may not agree with and before you freak out the similarities were just too much for me to ignore " I started of and he raised one eyebrow and dragged out the word " okay " with multiple a's. " I took a piece of hair from Brielle's brush last time I was here because I was about eighty percent sure that we are related in some way " I continued waiting for him to smack me but he is just sitting there intensely listening. " I took the hair and got it DNA tested, she's my little half sister and we have the same father, her father was having an affair on his wife her mother with my mother and got them both pregnant about the same time I was born first then Brielle about six months later was born " I finished watching him take in every bit of information. He just nodded his head and was silent for about five minutes before he finally spoke up.

" Okay I've processed this but it is between you and Brielle o I'll go get her then give you guys your space " he said. He then looked like he just thought of something and said " also if she gets too stressed she might regress so if that happen call for me right away " I can tell how much he loves my sister. Yes I did just say sister, I believe that half sister I'd only a technical term, if you love and care for your sibling whether step half or whole they are just your sister and brother. I am extremely nervous for Brielle's reaction mainly because I know the only reason Jacob handled it so we'll is because he is saying all his mental strength to be there with brielle and support her.

Finally I see the short figure of my little sister and tall figure of my best friend coming into the room. I sit up straighter and when Brielle sits down I decide to get this talk over with. " so Brielle I asked to speak with you over something very important and I need you to listen and pay close attention to what I am telling you , okay " I told her and based on how quick she nodded and mumbled a small " yes " I'm assuming my face looked very serious. " I'm just going to start by ripping off the bandaid, I'm actually your half brother and I have proof and an explanation if you want it " I started wincing a little waiting for her reaction. For about 10 minutes she just sat there not giving any indication she heard what I said, for a moment I thought she didn't until she got up and started pacing.

" how and why " those were the only three words she spoke since I dropped the massive life changing news on her. " Our father cheated on you mother with my mom, by the time my mom found the willpower to tell your dad she was pregnant she was already about seven months pregnant with me, by then your mother had just found out she was pregnant with you so Our father paid for everything my mom needed and told her to leave him alone and never come back " I told her in a soft voice to try and lessen the blow. " I don't even know what to say to that, I do believe you and I had a feeling I didn't understand at the time with your features and I received a big brother feeling from you " she told me stopping her pacing and sitting down on the couch with a cute little huff. " also Brielle I just want to let you know we biologically might be half siblings but I will always see you as my little sister, through and through you are my sister and I'll always love you " I said and as I was finishing up I trapped her hands and squeezed her into a big bear hug.

" Now that all that's taken care of why don't we see if we can find a bunch of snacks and have a mini Disney princess marathon " I told her ruffling her hair.
" Mulan first pretty pretty please " she says pleading uses the all powerful puppy dog eyes. " Well of course what other than your favorite movie " I gave her a wide grin. " You know my favorite movie " she squealed in excitement with admiration in her eyes.

That is basically how the rest of the day went , movies great snacks and my adorable little sister having to comment on every minute of the movies, I'd say today was a success and I cant wait to hang out more with her in the future... Along with my future brother in law/best friend of course.

I am extremely sorry for the long wait. I spent about a week going through it, making changes and spell checking to try and get this very important chapter amazing for you guys.
