Sentinel Prime stood outside your bedroom door, the sound of your muffled sobs reaching his auditory sensors. Concern etched across his face, he gently knocked on the doorframe.

"Y/N?" he called softly, his voice laced with worry. "May I come in?"

Your sobs paused momentarily, and you managed to croak out a shaky, "Yes."

Sentinel stepped into the room, his human form allowing him to navigate the space more easily. He found you sitting on the edge of your bed, your face buried in your hands, tears streaming down your cheeks. Seeing you in such distress tugged at something deep within him.

He moved closer, sitting beside you on the bed. "What's wrong?" he asked gently. "Why are you crying?"

You sniffled, trying to wipe away your tears but failing as fresh ones took their place. "I just... I miss my parents so much. And thinking about when I got evicted from my apartment and became homeless... it's just too much sometimes."

Sentinel's eyes softened with empathy. He reached out, hesitating for a moment before placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that," he said quietly. "I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for you."

You nodded, your breath hitching as you tried to speak. "It was... horrible. I felt so lost and alone. And now, even though things are better, I still miss them so much."

Sentinel's heart ached for you. He shifted closer, wrapping his arm around you and pulling you into a gentle embrace. "It's okay to miss them," he whispered, his voice soothing. "But I promise you, you will reunite with them. Everything is going to be alright."

You buried your face in his shoulder, allowing yourself to cry freely. Sentinel held you close, his hand rubbing your back in slow, comforting circles. "Let it out," he murmured. "I'm here for you."

Your sobs gradually subsided, your breathing evening out as the weight of your emotions began to lift. The warmth of Sentinel's embrace and his reassuring presence provided a sense of solace you desperately needed.

After what felt like hours but was only minutes, you finally pulled back slightly, wiping the last of your tears from your cheeks. "Thank you, Sentinel," you whispered, your voice hoarse but sincere. "Thank you for being here for me."

Sentinel offered you a gentle smile, his eyes filled with compassion. "Of course," he said softly. "You mean a lot to me, and I'll always be here to support you."

You smiled weakly, feeling a bit lighter despite the lingering sadness. "I'm grateful to have you in my life."

Sentinel's grip on your shoulder tightened slightly, a silent promise of his unwavering support. "And I'm grateful to have you in mine."

You leaned your head against his shoulder, drawing strength from his presence. The room was quiet now, save for the soft hum of the city outside. In that moment, you felt a sense of peace, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you wouldn't have to face them alone.

The bond between you and Sentinel Prime grew stronger that day, forged in the fires of shared pain and mutual support. And as you sat there, finding comfort in each other's presence, you knew that together, you could weather any storm.
