Dominique Morgan, 24, was looking around, concerned about the well being of those around her, especially Basil's. Dominique has always been this person who'd like to protect others from any danger, especially real danger. She was sitting in her room, seeing that there are people who need protecting, there are people who need comforting during this hard time.

"Dom? Are we really going to be turned into objects?" Basil asked, opening the door as they leaned on it, a solemn look painting their face.
"Not on my watch. I am going to make sure that none of this is going to happen to us." Dominique sighed.
"Good, because I don't want to know who I'll become! Is Maggie here?" Basil asked.
"Yes. Maybe she can help us deal with this situation, although knowing of our fates could be... horrifying." Dominique sighed.
"Dom, so you think that Maggie is going to use her cool magical spells to deal with the problem?!" Basil asked.
"I don't know, all I know is that she has ways to read one's  fate, but I don't know if magic is real." Dominique replied.

Walter walked in on Dominique and Basil, "Why the hell are you talking about magic, you should all know that those things are physically impossible and for all I know, Maggie might be pulling people's legs to make a quick buck!" He scoffed.
"Don't slander against others, Walter! You don't know much about her!" Dominique shouted.
"Well, excuse me that I don't play into Basil's childish bullshit! Pathetic for a 19 year old if you ask me! I'm 19, and I don't fucking get into that childish mind-numbing shit!" Walter scoffed.
"I am not a childish brat, I can be as mature as you, and I know Mayor Gardener for cheese and crackers' sake!" Basil shouted, slamming their hand onto the door.
"Cool it you two, I am pretty sure that we can work something out." Dominique tried to mediate both Walter and Basil but...
"Mind your business! And this brat had started it! What pronouns does that brat use?!" Walter asked.
"I use they/them." Basil corrected, "And don't call me a brat."
"I thought you were a girl!" Walter was dumbfounded by the revelation of pronouns, "I use he/him pronouns by the way!"
"You thought wrong, and I'm fine with anyone as long as they're decent human beings, which you're not!"

In the midst of the argument, Chester and his two friends headed over and noticed it all.
"What the hell is going on?!" Roland asked.
"Well, they were discussing on how Maggie is going to let them know what's going to happen in the future, but we all know that those damned predictions are, most of the time, wrong and only a marketing ploy!" Walter scoffed, "Bonnie and I went through the carnival and had encountered a clairvoyant in the past, she said that Bonnie and I will have a bright future ahead of us, well, if her forecast is correct, Bonnie'd be still here today!"
"Just because you had bad experiences with a clairvoyant doesn't mean you should think that all magic-related stuff are scams!" Irene shouted.
"How naïve, I know that because it is scientifically impossible to get a prediction perfectly correct, and you can't accurately predict the future because the future isn't set in stone!" Walter replied.
"Calm down, I know that Maggie has a good reputation and some people have seen her use real magic before." Chester sighed.
"Shut up, Jenkins! I know that you have saved a celebrity before! TV personality Pamela Falk to be exact! Maggie is also a celebrity as well, but what I have saw was all just for the show! She can't use real magic!" Walter scoffed.

"I don't have all day for this, Walter isn't going to give up that there is literally evidence that Maggie has used real magic before!" Roland sighed, "Chester, let's go." He then began walking away from the group, "I'm going to take a loooooooong bathroom break then see what Pamela's up to!"
"Roland! We have to stick together, and she is with Goldiva right now!" Chester shouted.
"Do I really care at this point, we are surrounded by a whole bunch of strangers, some totally incompetent, and some complete assholes!" Roland scoffed.
"I'm not an asshole!" Walter shouted, "Take that back you sonofabitch!"
"Nope, it's true because I have seen your assholery a whole load of times to know who you really are!" Roland scoffed again, rolling his eyes. He walked towards the bathrooms as Chester followed suit, and Irene followed as well.
