REAL LIFE

GRACIE KNOCKS ON GEORGE CLARKE'S DOOR, clothed in a large hoodie and leggings, both her clothes and her hair soaked through from the rain since she'd made the stupid decision to walk even though the skies had gone completely black.

George opens his front door, his eyes softening at the sight in front of him. Gracie was stood at his door with makeup running down her face, hair plastered all over her cheeks, in a Sidemen hoodie that was a few sizes too big for her, and the only thing that George could think was that he had never in his life seen anything more beautiful.

"Hi," Gracie says quietly, a ghost of a smile on her perfect lips, her beautiful eyes staring up at him like he hung the moon.

George smiles, "Hey Grace."

Before the man could see anything else, Gracie stumbles into the apartment, throwing her arms around George's neck and resting her head on his chest, holding him like he was going to disappear any moment now.

George felt like his heart stopped for a moment at the feel of her arms around him, his body still at the contact for a moment before reacting and wrapping his arms around the smaller girl's waist, pulling closer to him and letting his chin fall to the top of her head, lightly swaying them from side to side with his body.

Without thinking about what he was doing, George places a light kiss to the crown of Gracie's head, blushing when he realises what he's doing, he looks down at the girl in his arms, only to see she'd pulled herself closer at the action. So he places another small kiss on her forehead before taking her face in his hands, forcing her to look up at him.

George holds Gracie's face gently, wiping the drying tears and makeup from below her eyes with a light trace of his thumbs, smiling down at her as he does so, "How can I help you Grace?" he asks gently, quiet enough so it wouldn't be heard in a room full of people, but loud enough so Gracie could hear it with their faces so close together.

The brunette girl looks up at George, her breath stopping at the feel of his soft hands gently holding her face. It was at this moment, with the man's hands on either side of her tear stained face that Gracie realises just how beautiful George Clarke actually was. She'd always known he was gorgeous but she really took her time to admire him in this moment as she stares up at him, long lashes, a slightly messy crop of brown hair on his head, light stubble tracing his jawline, and a pair of greyish blue eyes staring back at her with what any unknowing person would see as a look of love.

Gracie clears her throat, pulling herself out of the trance she was in, "Uh well I suppose I could eat," the girl mumbles quietly, suddenly feeling very shy in the man's presence, becoming very aware of herself and the state she was in as she rubs her face gently tucking her hairs behind her ears.

George smiles, slowly letting go of the girl's face and standing tall, "I'll order in."

Gracie nods, pulling her sleeves down over her hands nervously before realising they were dripping wet and sighing, doing her best to squeeze the water from both her hair and her clothes out onto the doormat.

George laughs lightly at the sight, "Come on let's get you some clothes," the man tilts his head down the corridor, walking ahead of Gracie and gesturing for her to follow.

"I'm sorry I look a mess," Gracie mumbles, standing awkwardly in the door of George's room, making him laugh lightly, placing his hands gently on her back and guiding her into the room, placing his hands on her shoulders as he sits her down on the edge of his bed.

George looks in her eyes, his hands still on her shoulders as he replies, "You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, even when you're hair's sticking to your face and you're makeup is streaming down your face," he doesn't even blink, simply staring right back at her as he finishes his sentence.
