3rd POV

Snowflakes delicately drifted down from the sky surrounding you in endless piles of untouched blankets of white. The season of winter only brought painful memories of birthdays passed,

'6 years and I've got nothing to show for it.' you thought to yourself, throwing a fallen pine cone in self hatred. Tears welled in your eyes as the memories of your parents blood dripping off of your face and hands shot through your head. Though they weren't your real parents they were the only ones that loved you and that was all that mattered. The sun started to fall coating the sky with a vibrant orange, you rose yourself from the chilly snow and headed back to the Kaijumo, leaving nothing but an impression.

Kaijumo was a small fishing village on the outskirts of Japan, you had come by it after a battle that had severely injured your leg. A laceration that was 1 inch deep and 6 inches long on the outside of your mid-thigh. The people there admired you intellectual abilities as well as your physical ones. You'd been living there with the people for 3 weeks working to repay them for their kindness to you.

As you walked, your slight limp made the 2 Katana swords draped on your back chime as they struck one another. Because you always had fought alone you worked hard to become a Knight, Tamar, and Aria. Your black trench coat trailed behind leaving a rug like impression. In such pure white surroundings you were easy to spot; your hair was blacker than your soul with a small amount of white hair strands that framed your face; reaching down to your hips. Your eyes consisted of a vibrant green resembling moss that left many people in awe.

After 10 minutes walking in silent thought you arrived at the edge of the village. The wind tussled your hair and Y/N suddenly noticed a change in the smell, only meaning that something was wrong at the village. Stealth, power, and strategy were your specialties. Quickly arming yourself and climbing into the tree line to remain out the sight of the potential enemy. Your healing wound, though throbbing, made no impact on your tree climbing.

1st POV

In the distance I saw a large pink limo at the center of Kaijumo. 10 minutes later I was 15 feet from the limo and could hear the voice of a charismatic man in the homes of one of the village families. Remaining out of sight to all I got close enough to hear the end of the conversation.

"I need the woman I know your harboring somewhere in this...place. Why such loyalty? Just tell me where she is and no one gets hurt. Its simple." said the man in an unintimidating voice.

"I have no idea who you speak of. There is no one here with that description. Now please leave my family and I alone" replied the family that I had been living with for the duration of my time at the small village.

'I cant remember the last time someone protected me' I thought to myself slightly smiling. It was hard to smile after not doing so for so long.

The unknown man continued, "You've left me no choice, EIN,ZWEI,DR" I bursted through the nearby window in order to prevent whatever would follow the three German words. My eyes finally met the man, as did his on me. He smiled with a wide mischievous grin revealing his sharp teeth that highlighted his purple hair and pointed ears. This was no man.

"Haha! Well if it isn't the woman of the hour." He bowed removing his hat, "My name is Mephisto and Im hear to sweep you away to land of knowledge and exorcist training. Y/N, the name that has been heard worldwide will you accompany me to my school?"

"Hahahaha, how can you take yourself seriously?" I said with a wild grin. The mans eyes started to twitch at the sight of my pure amusement and his frustration was growing. I took a seat at a nearby table and started to resheath my swords completely disregarding the dorky demon.

"So will you be joinin" Mephisto continued with a short temper only to be cut off by me again,

"No." I stated with all seriousness. He dropped the floor in shock slightly twitching. Once my katanas were in their rightful place I stepped over the man to go back outside to the woods.

The playful feel in the room began to dissipate as the man slammed me into the wall causing it to buckle from pure force. The pressure on my ribcage made it hard to take a full breath but my exterior remained unphased. The man grew closer to me and put his mouth next to my ear, "I know the demons your after, wouldn't want you to have murdered your parents for nothing would you?" Then dropping what pieces of me he held. Once cheery again after gaining the obvious upperhand he confidently changed his argument, "I have a preposition for you Y/N, You come with me to my school willingly and Ill give you the location of your demons."

"And if I don't?"

"2 things would happen. 1. I would entrap the demons so you would never be able to find them and 2, I would take the souls of this man and his lovely children." The air was so thick, that it was almost hard to breath. I stood up straight and agreed to the man shaking his hand and finalizing the deal. Without any goodbyes I sat in the backseat of the limo directly across the man that I had now grown to hate.
