It was always.
Year after year Shota Aizawa had to deal with students that had their heads in the clouds and thought nothing of what it actually meant to become heroes. This year was no exception and like the years before he had no problem cutting...
Just yesterday the had started their UA careers along with their fellow classmates to achieve their dreams of becoming heroes. And now they were reduced to a mere fraction of what the class should have been leaving all the expectations anyone had on the class now sorely on them.
An unsettling feeling to say the least.
It didn't help that none of the teachers so much as blinked when they arrived. Just walking right in, introducing themselves and a giving a basic summary of what each class will be about before jumping straight into lessons.
That lead to another major change. With the massively reduced number in the class that meant each of the 4 students would be given much more attention than they would had the class been the size it was originally.
This had both up and down sides. The up side was that each student would be given much more help in the areas that they'll struggle in and it would be easier for the teachers to see where each student will excel and where they struggle. On the other hand with such as small class each student would be expected to participate more in each lesson and could be more easily compared to the other 3.
So when the bell finally rang for lunch and Presnet Mic gave his goodbyes and left the room the 4 members of class 1a slumped in their seats as relief but also mentally drained for the morning they've all had.
"I never thought I'd feel this tired on the second day of school." Kyoka whined laying her head down on the table with the 3 boys groaning in agreement. "I expected trials form attending UA but this was not one of them." Fumikage grunted out with Dark Shadow emerging and rolling her eyes. "Oh grow a pair would, the lot of you. You've got 3 years of this shit to deal with." The quirk remained them all. "Yeah thanks those asshole classmates of ours that got themselves expelled." Izuku growled. "Yeah I thought the expulsion was supposed to a punishment for them not us." Mezo agreed feeling pity and spiteful.
Still even with their groaning and complaining the class knew there was really nothing they could do so with a tired sigh Izuku left his seat. "Come on we're missing lunch and we're going to need the energy for this afternoon." He reminded them getting small smiles as they remembered what was to come.
So finding the strength to stand the 4 students straightened themselves and headed out the door and right into a sea of students.
"Holy crap he's huge!"
"Look at the intensity on the bird guy's face!"
"The masked dude looks like he could rip a car in half!"
"The girl looks like she's ready to fight!"
The comments along with the unexpected invasion did not help the four hero course students moods. So talking a deep breath Izuku tired to calm himself down before he addressed the students. "Hello there I'm not sure we've meet. I'm Izuku Midoriya, and that's Mezo Shoji, Fumikage Tokoyami and Kyoka Jirou." He greeted getting nods or waves from each of his classmates before turning back to the assembled group. "Might I ask your business here?" Izuku requested. However unknown to the newcomers Izuku was using an ability he gained from Jack the Ripper, the Soul Eye.
