Matteo's POV:

I was just trying to find my way home but I got lost. Again. Last time I had managed to open google maps and find my way out of the rabbit hole I was now lost in and then the first time a kind lady pointed me in the direction of my appartment. But this time my phone is dead and there is no nice lady around. I'm just a sixteen year old who had just moved to a new area living by himself lost in his own neighbourhood. I was scared. The kids that smoke around this area scare me, they are a bunch of boys and everyone in the neighbourhood avoids them. Not many people are nice here and I have to start school soon.

"Hey kid" A voice from behind me says. I turn around and see a boy who looks to be a year older than me. He had brown hair and a scar across his left cheek. Behind him was a group of around ten or fifteen other kids.

"Hi" I replied not really knowing what to say and not wanting to get into any trouble.

"What is a little kid like you doing out here all alone. You should know this area aint safe." He smirked and looked back over his shoulder. He then pulled a girl with bright neon pink hair wearing a short black skirt and a lace shirt over to him holding her by the waist.

"Well I for one think we should educate ya on the area." The pink haired girl said with a smug look on her face. A smug look that could only mean trouble. No sooner had the words left her mouth when two guys wearing black and brown pushed me roughly against a brick wall pinning me against it by my shoulders.

Then the first guy who had spoken to me punched me in the face twice. I knew a bruise would form sooner or later on my cheek and eye.

"Oi" I heard from behind the rest of the group who were watching me get beaten up "How about you leave him alone? Yeah?"

"And what are you going to do about it Bee-ah?" Asked the tall guy who punched me in a mocking manner turning around to look at her.

"Just leave him alone."

"Or?" Asked the tall guy looking smug though I thought I could sense some weariness.

"Or your face gets to meet my fist again" The voice said. That was when I saw her, a figure dressed in all black make her way through the crowd of thugs. She was petite but tall, quiet but loud, shy but confident. She was perfectly balanced, you could just tell. She wore black leather boots with long heels and a black leather jacket with a hood covering the top half of her face. I could make out sunglasses as well. She held her gloved fists curled and got into a fighting position in front of the boy before moving one of her fists in a 'come at me' way. All in all she looked just as dangerous as the group in front of me.

"C'mon guys lets go" I heard the guy say as the others retreated after him.

I turned to thank the girl who had saved me but she was right in front of me.

"Look kid, I don't know what you thought you were doing here but go home." She started, her voice was calm and powerful. Commanding.

I chuckled sheepishly, putting a hand to my neck. "That's the thing, I'm new here and I got lost."

"Where do you live?" The mysterious girl asked me. She's just a stranger and yeah she saved me but still she could be just as dangerous as the guys from moments before, judging from the fact that they fled kind of proves my point.

She seemed to notice my uneasiness "I can walk you home" She clarified as if she was talking to a child.

"Oh ok" I said embarrassed I hadn't understood what she meant.

"Yo Beah" Someone called from behind and I noticed that it was the group from a minute ago doubled in size. Beah quickly pushed me behind her and got back into her fighting stance. Fists raised

"I'd say we're about even now" Said the guy who punched me. I'm just gonna call him knuckles.

"Bring it on" Beah said, beckoning them forward.

She started fighting them one by one and let's just say now I get why knuckles said that they were even. This girl was a force to be reckoned with. Once she had knocked out nearly everyone I looked at the girl to see that she was tiring. It wasn't obvious to her opposer but was obvious enough for me as I was just observing on the sidelines. I just stood there unable to do anything. All of a sudden I saw that the newcomers had guns and one of them was aiming it right at Beah.

"BEAH WATCH OUT" I yelled. I saw her look at the man with the gun and charge him narrowly missing the bullet. She knocked the gun out of his hand with her shoe and proceeded to catch it using the back of it to knock him unconscious.

"Thanks" was her breathless reply as she looked around to see everyone either unconscious or fled from the scene.

Just then one of the unconscious thugs awoke and grabbed her ankle pulling her to the floor before I could call out to her he had a knife in her arm. She didn't even make a sound of pain or even recognize the knife in her arm, instead she elbowed the man next to her in the nose, sending him to oblivion once again. Then she got up, pulled the knife out of her arm, wiped the blade clean of her blood and dropped it to the ground next to the man.

"Come on let's get you home" She said making her way towards me

"What about your arm?" I asked concerned for the girl who had just saved my life multiple times in the span of an hour.

"T'will be fine" She replied with no trace of pain in her voice

"Please let me bandage it up for you, it's the least I could do for you."

"No it's-"

"No I insist" I said, cutting her off with a warm smile and then proceeded to tell her where I lived as we walked there in silence.

True to her word, Beah did know the area and she delivered me safely home. Once we stepped inside I took Beah to the kitchen counter and sat her on it as it was right next to the sink. She took off her jacket and gloves. She had light skin and had on her left hands she had little hearts drawn on her knuckles. Her very dangerous knuckles that I never want to be on the wrong side of. I quickly ran to the bathroom and grabbed a bandage from the first aid kit from one of the moving boxes. I cleaned up the wound with some disinfectant and then wrapped her forearm up.

"Thanks. And try to keep yourself out of trouble." She jumped of the counter

"Ok I will thanks" I waved her out

"See you around sometime." She said doing a two fingered salute before turning away.
