To be honest, I kind of expected Emma to become the dark one.

Since we were given the promo for "Operation Mongoose", I had a feeling that Emma was going to turn dark.

I don't really have a theory about dark Emma, I mean, there's not much to theorize about, only speculate about, which is exactly what I did.

Since the show writers have lately been splitting the Season into a and b, I can assume that Emma will only be the dark one for the Season 5a.

My theory, is that Emma will die unless they take the darkness out of her. Not at first, maybe 7-9 episodes in.

Merlin says the only way to contain the darkness within a person, without them dying, is for the victim to be pure.

Everyone's thinking of a person, and they all come to the conclusion, it's Henry.

Henry's the only one who hasn't done anything bafd, and he's old enough to handle the responsibility.

Think of it like this.

Emma is like very lighlty gray paint. She's been " the savior", and has light magic and all, but she killed Cruela, and was a their back in the day.

Henry is like completely white paint.

Now if you add generous amounts of black paint, Emma would be on the Black side of the scale, and Henry would be a dark gray.

Merlin tells Henry that if he can keep the darkness at bay, they can keep the darkness from killing him.

I hope for a scene like this to happen:

Emma is on a dark rampage, and is destroying the town anf trying to kill people, when suddenly she falls unconscious because the darkness is killing her.

Everyone tells Henry the only way to save Emma is to become the dark one.

Killian gives Henry the dagger, and he holds it up and thee darkness consumes him.

Boom! He's gone and Emma's like, "How could you let him do that?!".

They look at the dagger and it says...

Henry Mills

Roll the credits! That's how they rend Season 5a, 5b continues with them dealing with Henry.

Hope you guys enjoyed, and the next topic is, Zelina's Baby!
