The bell hand rang a few minutes ago, the students had mostly left, unless they had a club.
Right outside the principal's office, yelling could be heard.
"I swear, he started it!" Yelled America, eyes narrowed and pointing at the Russian.
"But you didn't have to involve my mother in this!" The other yelled back.
"Dude, I just came up with something lame on-spot, and you get this offended?! Go touch some grass!"
"The fuck does that mean?"
"It means get a life!"
"You were trying to offend me, you got what you wanted, why are you complaining?! You just need an excuse to keep talking don't you? You never shut up! Poor parents of yours, really, how have they not disowned you?!" Russia brought up his parents to see if it would infuriate him.
America's left eye twitched, as a few tears began forming in his eyes.
His fists were clenched, he was ready to beat the crap out of the one in front of him.
"Oh, so now that I did it to you, it's suddenly not okay, isn't it!?" Russia protested. He hadn't been this mad since the end of the Cold War.
Meanwhile, the principal waited for them to calm down, he was too tired from the long day to get involved in teenager drama.
"Dude, I literally just mentioned your mom, I didn't say you deserved to get disowned!" Ame stated, tears began leaking down his face.
Russia raised his eyebrows, in shock.
Did he actually manage to make his sworn enemy cry?
"Jeez, I thought you were tougher than that." He went back to his usual numb tone.
"Okay, that's enough..." The principal finally spoke up, with puffy eyes.
"America..." He continued.
"I did nothing! Why're you gonna punish me?!" Ame cried tears of rage.
"I was gonna say you're dismissed."
"..." He left, pointing the middle finger at the Russian, who had to stay for extra time.
America closed the door behind him.
He wasn't as irritated as before, his eyebrows softly arched, and his dark blue eyes faced the ground as his pupils dilated.
He whipped away his tears, and got out his phone.
He scrolled down his contacts, and texted his father, who was at the very bottom of the list.
"Hey, dad, I'm a bit late today, I got held back by something sort of ridiculous...Well, I'll see you at home" He texted, then placed his phone in his bag again.
The school was empty, something he rarely saw, if not never saw, since he's always late, and always leaves as fast as possible.
It had an odd, surreal feeling to it.
He listened to calming music as he went down the staircase and exited the school, and put on his sunglasses before being exposed to the sun.
He lives rather close to school ground, so he made it home in about ten minutes.
He knocked on the door, but no one responded, so he got the key that was under the entrance rug, and got in.
"...Where is he?..." He placed his bag down, and got his phone, only to see a notification.
