It was the next day, at school.
Germany had some time to calm down, but unlike all the other times, the feeling stood. The intensity obviously lower, but still.
The bell rang, it was the end of 1st period.
Instead of joining his friends, like he usually did, America wanted to check up on Germany, especially after what had happened last night.
"H-Hey, Ger!... Umm, are you...are you okay?" America asked, slightly awkward, but a hint of concern was given at his last sentence.
Germany, who was picking his stuff up, didn't expect the American to come see him.
He skipped a heart beat.
"Yes, I'm okay, America, you don't need to worry." Germany gave him a reassuring smile, his brows gently arched.
"You sure?... It didn't seem like it last night..." The other pointed out.
"Yes, I'm sure, I was...overreacting." He lied, and rolled his emerald eyes.
"Okay...If you ever need anything, I'm here for you, bud, okay?..." America made himself clear, his brows curved in concern.
"Alright, thanks, America." The other smiled back, a rather broken smile, similar to the one he gave America the previous night, minus all the tears.
America noticed this.
"Okay..." He the walked away, not knowing what to say.
Germany sighed.
"That was close..." He muttered, and left the room.
He checked his schedule, and a smile appeared on his face.
"Finally, something enjoyable!" He headed towards the history class room.
The bell rang, it was the beginning of 2nd period.
"Alright, class..." Mr. Smith started.
"Today we'll be starting a new topic"
Germany's eyes lit.
What would it be? Roman history? Would they be learning about the Punic wars? Most importantly to him, would they be discussing any vehicles used in said time period???
"We'll be talking about World War 2, since we began the year with World War 1."
Germany's stomach dropped, as his face went pale. No more excitement.
"They're staring at me, aren't they?!" He thought, eyes closed, but really, nobody was looking at him.
"Sir, can I go to the restroom?" Russia asked.
"Fine, but make it quick."
Russia left.
"U-Um, can I go too?..." Germany asked, standing up, and he wasn't planning on coming back.
"When Russia returns."
"Okay..." He muttered, and sat back down.
Russia closed the door behind him, and let out a sigh, his heart beat began going normal again.
He enters a restroom stall, and stays there for the rest of the class, leaning on the stall, staring at the roof and occasionally checking his watch.
Meanwhile, in the class room, Mr. Smith began asking a few questions before actually teaching, just to test the student's knowledge.
"Okay, when did WW2 start and end?"
