She was running down the sidewalk. Her heart was beating out of her chest. She knew people were looking at her confusedly but her life was on the line.
She was looking for a specific house, one she knew she was safe at.
"Siobhan!!" Roger's voice yelled out, chasing after her. For a man in his 60s, he was faster than she thought.
She just kept running, not looking back. Tears ran down her face as her vision blurred from the liquid. Where was this stupid house?
These roads never ended and she still couldn't find Autumn's house. Suddenly, someone yanked her back by her hair and she slammed into the ground. She screamed and kicked, hoping to fight him off. Roger just rained down on her, unleashing all his anger. She curled up and cried, shielding herself as best as possible.
"Siobhan!"
"Siobhan!"
"Come on, angel." Vivian whispered softly, holding the blonde in her arms. She had been kicking and screaming in her sleep, knocking Autumn out of bed by accident. She just stood and stretched, used to this by now.
"Plug her nose, she'll wake up without even knowing we did it." Autumn suggested and Viv did as told. Soon, Siobhan shot up, nearly knocking Viv off the bed as well.
Siobhan gasped and breathed heavily, tears coming to her eyes. Vivian just held her close as Autumn got back into bed. She reached her hand out for Siobhan to hold and the woman grasped it tightly.
Autumn found herself doing anything she could to make sure her sweet recovered. Even if that meant ignoring her own discomfort for the comfort of them.
The blonde was getting better, her nightmares were less frequent but still happening. Her ribs had fully healed and she was soon returning to work. Panic attacks still happened but both Aut and Viv knew how to help bring her down from one.
"You're okay, darling. Just a dream, nothing will happen to you. We're right here." Vivian stroked her hair, kissing her head softly.
"I'd kill him if he were still living." Autumn spoke, leaning against the headboard. Vivian just deadpanned and Siobhan let out a watery laugh, her tears subsiding.
"That's not funny, Autumn." Viv sighed.
"I wasn't joking." Autumn raised a brow again and Viv just rolled her eyes.
Mia had entered the house, it was her turn of the day to check on the three women. Her footsteps were incredibly soft, something she learned and developed during her childhood.
It was quiet besides quiet voices and a few cries.
"You're okay, angel. We're right here." She heard Vivian say softly.
"I'm sorry, I just can't let it go." Siobhan sniffled. Mia stood outside of the door, giving them their moment.
"My sweet, this isn't something you can just 'let go'. It takes time to heal and you are slowly getting better." Autumn sighed. Mia never heard the young Knight sister sound so caring and sweet.
"But-"
"No buts, you take all the time you need. We'll be here every step of the way." Vivian pressed a kiss to Siobhan's head just as Mia knocked softly.
"Just here to check on you lot. Everyone alright? There's food downstairs as well as some more of your clothes, Shibby." Mia peaked her head in and could see Siobhan laying in Autumn's lap, her head tucked into her neck.
"We're alright, Mia. Thank you. We'll be down shortly to eat if you'd like to join us." Vivian offered.
"I'd love to but Char is waiting at home and we have a date tonight. Maybe tomorrow?" She offered, smiling at the women.
Siobhan looked up and nodded, her eyes slightly red from her tears.
"Thank you, Mia." Siobhan smiled, wiping her tears before they could even fall. Mia just nodded and left, waving to the other women in the room.
Siobhan returned to her position and Viv laid her head on Aut's shoulder. The woman was surrounded at this point and somehow, she didn't hate it.
God she was going soft.
