Opinion:I seriously love Percabeth because they started the Percy Jackson series as more of a trying-not-to-kill-each-other-but- kind-of-friends than best friends, which they were at around the third book(The Titan's Curse) and Percy  risked his life to save Annabeth(though,ironically, Athena remarked that that was why she didn't approve of their friendship). Aphrodite also STRONGLY hinted that she approved of Percabeth in a OBVIOUSLY romantic way. In The Battle of the Labyrinth, it was incredibly clear that Annabeth liked Percy(she was SO jeolous of Rachel) and Percy,well, he'd liked Annabeth as-more-than-friends for a while, but had never noticed. In The Last Olympian, they very clearly  liked each other and even Percy realized it. Their bond was so strong Annabeth was pretty much the only thing Percy could remember about his old life in The Son of Neptune. And Annabeth was so distraught when Percy went missing that she searched EVERYWHERE for him(and judo-flipped him when he came back). They were the ONLY couple that stayed strong all the way through all three series, showing how they're pretty much like soulmates and that is why they are my OTP.
